The Family Beach House

Our San Diego property is located in the lovely neighborhood of Pacific Beach, just two blocks from the beach and two blocks from Mission Bay. It is ideal for families, retirees, and young couples alike with it having an enclosed back yard (good for the little ones) with a brand new BBQ, lawn chairs for telling stories, as well as a lemon tree! The property has a driveway with a private gate for two vehicles as well as street parking available-- a huge plus for summertime in this popular San Diego beachside suburb. This property is within walking distance (3 minutes or less) of not only the beach but many popular restaurants, bars, coffee/ice cream shops, Garnet street shopping, and a grocery store! Our neighborhood is quiet but close to fun so we ask our renters to be respectful of our wonderful neighbors who live in the area year around. The house was built in the 1950's when Pacific Beaches' palm tree lined streets were made of sand so it has an old feel charm which we LOVE! There is cable, smart TV, a DVD player, & WIFI internet access, AND washer/dryer in home. Shower towels provided.

Kitchen: Refrigerator, Oven/Stovetop, Microwave, Dishwasher, Toaster, NutriBullet (for blending shakes/smoothies), Plates, Bowls, Utensils, Basic Cooking Utensils, Measuring Cups, Can Opener

Home Layout: Kitchen, Living room/Dining area seats up to 10 (w/ table extenders in back closet), Master Bedroom (King Bed), Bedroom 2 (Queen bed), Bedroom 3 goes to outdoor patio (Queen Bed), 1 Queen size blow-up mattresses (please let me know if there is ever a problem with blow-up mattresses), Outdoor Patio with dining seating and grill, medium sized backyard with fruit tree, grass.

There is a private studio above the private garage in the back of the home. This studio is occupied by the owners daughter and son-in-law. They maintain the property, are very quiet, and there to answer any questions if needed! There is a privacy fence separating the studio, as well as a separate entrance to the studio so backyard is for private use of VRBO guests during stay.

Host provided excellent instructions and accommodations. This house is lovely and in a fantastic area, it’s 1 block away from a grocery store and the beach! The only thing that I would recommend is having couple of fans throughout the house as the AC was struggling to keep up during our stay. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this house for your next getaway.

The property was adorable and super clean upon check-in. We loved the private parking and close proximity to the beach and nearby restaurants. I would recommend bringing your own beach chairs if you have a large group as they only had a couple on site.

-Great house - light and airy, lots of space for three couples, has everything you need for a stay of any length of time.-Great location - close to SO many shops, restaurants, grocery, etc., and, of course, close to the beach!-Designated parking so you don't have to search for a spot on the street.-Jessica was so easy to communicate with - she responded quickly to any questions I had, and was extremely accommodating! Wonderful home close to beach

The beach home was clean, stocked with everything we needed for a 5 day stay. The location is very walkable to beach, coffee shops, restaurants and a grocery store. The beach towels and toys made the stay perfect.

Lovely home in a great location

This property was perfect for our group of 3 adults and 2 children. The house was equipped with everything that we needed and was a few short blocks to Pacific Beach. We had a great time and would stay here again.
