Our room was very clean and comfortable. It had all of the amenities we needed. They have three different restaurants on site. The breakfast is fantastic. The service is outstanding. We loved it. I was traveling with my wife and my 11 year old daughter.

The reason I give 4 star is because the food weren’t properly labeled in English &there are a lot to English guess who stayed there, as to say if it was pork or ham or whatever I am allergic to those food I took pasta & it had pork salami & had to send it back now I am dealing with an allergy on my face & body . The place over all with cleanliness is 5 star..

The experience was wonderful. The shuttle driver was waiting at the designated area with a sign identified as Barcelo. Check-in was smooth, all staff interaction was courteous, room was very clean and the breakfast was more than I expected. It was well done. I will be back again.

Worst experience I've had through Expedia. Even though I sent numerous emails, Barcelo did not respond to providing free collective transport and could not be reached by phone there. The staff, although courteous, were not very English language oriented. Hotel foods were less than desirable. Hot water was less than lukewarm. The pool was not very attractive the first couple days.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel and honestly sad that I was only staying one night! Considering the price I paid for a night at this hotel, I was not expecting anything special. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the bed was so comfortable, the hotel property was beautiful with a gorgeous garden to walk through and a resort quality pool. I was very pleased with both the dinner and breakfast buffets and had a great time listening to a live DJ at the hotel bar in the evening! If I am ever back in San Jose, I will most definitely stay here again!
