The hotel is in downtown San Jose and close to everything. Clean cozy room, no AC but the temperature remained comfortable. Great breakfast, complimentary all day coffee. Staff is very sincere and pleasant! Would definitely come back!

We loved the coziness of this property and the staff, so helpful. Breakfast was delicious with many options, and our room was quaint and perfect for our quick, 2 night stay. Driving and parking in this busy section of town is challenging so we left our car in the hotel's garage and walked where we wanted to go.

Perfect spot—close to everything. It’s a great chsracter hotel, with an amazingly helpful and friendly staff. The hotel coffee shop is my favorite. Note: mattresses are extra firm, which may not be to everyone’s preference. Personally, I didn’t mind the bed at all, and gound it very comfortable.

The room was roomy, with nice mural design & art. Fun towel foldings. The outdoor spaces were very pleasant, including for breakfast. Appreciated being on the main avenue to town center, but without traffic noise.

Everything was awesome, except for the towels. They look dirty. I believe they don't use bleach to wash them because I asked for more and they were in the same condition. Everything else was wonderful!

Charming hotel

We needed a place to stay in San Jose because our flight was pretty early. The hotel is great; clean, friendly staff, close to airport and La Sabana park; however there’s not much around, mainly business and a few fast food places. We had dinner at Tierra Gaucha which was really good, but I think that was the only restaurant close by (walking distance). Other than that the hotel was very charming, clean and accomodated our needs!

Loved the property, room and location. Front reception staff was less than helpful and misdirected is when looking for our car rental place, which resulted in a 2 hour delay in us leaving San Jose. He was unapologetic and very unhelpful.
