Our original booking had to be changed. Our host found us a new location which was great, very clean and accommodating. Host was very fast at responding as well and helping with check in.

We liked our stay at Casa Las Ruinas. It was pretty easy to find, get into, and get into the room. The room is nice. I would suggest bringing a couple of bottles of water. There is a window above the door and a hall light on all night. I like to sleep in the dark so that wasn't ideal. Great little fridge with freezer part. The bed was compy and the shower worked good. It is located in a great area. Easy access to resteraunts, stores, and bars. The stairs are a bit challenging, but we were aware of them so mo problem. We enjoyed the courtyard and the rooftop area. The rooftop area needs a little work. The cushions need to be replaced as they are moldy. I would suggest that they put in a garbage can on the top. The breeze was great.

Everything was great. Loved the large bathroom. Also loved the high ceiling and beams. Unfortunately the power went out in old San Juan. And we really couldn’t use the condo for almost the whole day and night. No fault of owner. Other than that we had a great time.

The room was in good condition. Maybe my fault, I did not see the fact that it has no lift - hard for seniors like us. The cleaning staff were very accommodating though. We just picked up stuff we need for the night and our change of clothes for the next day. The worst part though was the fact that the town lost power and Casa does not have generator. So, no we did not enjoy our stay there.

We stayed for 3 nights. The first night was booked in a one bedroom and the next 2 nights when additional family arrived we moved to the 2 bedroom. Both rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. We were a bit worried as to what we would do after checking out at 10AM from the first room and not getting into the second until 4PM. The staff was wonderful and let us go to the second room right at 10AM. Extremely convenient! This is right in the middle of Old San Juan. No need for a car as everything is right there. The streets are loud at night with people and cars, however we loved hearing all the young people out having fun! It rained a lot while we were there and the 2 room apartment does leak, nothing to bad that a towel wouldn't fix. We enjoyed ourselves and would come back. I would request a first floor room if you have any mobility issues as the 3rd floor is a long hike up with luggage. Thank you for a fun 3 days in Old San Juan before our cruise. There is a great cafe right outside the back door called Cafe Luna that we had breakfast at each morning. Definetly check that out!

It's clear the building was recently remodeled, as everything inside is brand new and clean. It has excellent internet and good AC. It's very well located in the heart of Old San Juan. The only issue is that room #13, which we were assigned, has several skylights on the wall facing room #12. These have only been covered with clear vinyl sheets, allowing our room to be completely illuminated, making it very difficult to sleep. Although I asked a cleaning person the next day to please turn off the light in that room, since it was empty, they didn't; and the three nights we spent there were very difficult to sleep.

Bien limpio y facil. Estuve alegre tener un lugar tranquilo lejos del ruido de San Juan antiguo, pero muy conveniente y cerca de los bars. Lo recomendaría si quieres recorrer el viejo San Juan y ver la fortaleza

Staff support only by phone, no one in person. Dusty room with a moldy ceiling. Nowhere to open/store luggage except on bed or floor. Broken, Dirty, sharp edged glass globe light hovering over my head on bed. Woken up at 7am with LOUD jack hammer/saw noise on courtyard wall adjoining room.

The balcony offered a great view, although it wasn’t as easy to enjoy while seated. Aside from that, the unit was clean, homey, and very quiet. I’m glad I stayed here and would absolutely recommend it to friends and family.

What a cute little quaint place! This was absolutely what we wanted when we wanted to stay in old San Juan with all of the charm! I loved the shower amenities! They had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, all of the things! Quality stuff too. I loved the soft bed. The only downside would be the early check-out of 10:00am. A lot of people are traveling in for a cruise and flight delays and that was a bit inconvenient. We didn’t get in until 1:00am and could’ve used another hour or so of sleep. 11:00 or noon check-out would be much better for the clientele they have. We would absolutely stay there again. ❤️

Great location, cozy little room. Only issue is i didn’t see where you could ask for handicap access, and it was difficult for us as a elderly couple to lug our luggage up the stairs and had to lock up his handicap scooter downstairs. Found a fantastic restaurant on the same street. Delicious.

We had issues upon arrival. I had called 2 days before arrival to make sure we had a ground floor room as I have a broken ankle and wrist and unable to use stairs and they have no elevator. They had assigned us 2nd floor. The rep was not willing to help at first but then found another unit around the corner from the first one. It had 2 beds, one in a loft. Bathroom was big. Living area had mold on the ceiling tiles.The air conditioning unit kept kicking off. Not quite area. This is why I gave them three stars
