It was our second visit to the hotel, and, it was just as memorable. The friendliness of the staff at the front desk was really nice to see. The room was nice and clean and a great view of the hills beyond. Good morning breakfast was good but I was looking for decaffeinated tea and couldn't find any. Really enjoyed the fact that the omelets were cooked to order. The waffle machine made me want to get one of my own. I thought the water pressure in our room was a little too strong. The rooms at night can be pitch black, they could use a night light or two. I would recommend anyone coming to Carlsbad to stay at the Ayers Hotel.

Although brief, we had a great stay. Large rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Amazing breakfast options. Parking and EV charging a HUGE +++++. Would definitely stay here again.
