Meh.

The location was convenient. The staff were helpful and courteous. The room was worn out and the plumbing was sketchy. We had our dog with us, so maybe they give less than ideal rooms to pet guests with pets.

Pictures are very misleading, so make sure you read reviews before booking. The room was very small and the tv also very very small, and the WiFi was horrible. The positive was that it was in a decent area and the staff (the single one we saw) was friendly. If you ask me for the price it should have been so much better.

Tv/internet sucked. House keeping tried to come in to clean our room when we hadn’t even checked out yet. Bed was decent. Noisy/thin walls/freeway. Rooms in general are worn down but you get what you pay for. Staff were friendly though.

This hotel is super clean and convenient if you need a night's stay around San Marcos or Carlsbad. The check in and customer service were great. It's a really good value if you need a place to stay for the night.

This hotel SHOULD NOT be in the Wyndham Family of hotels. It has to be the absolute WORST Days Inn in the entire chain of hotels. How do you claim you have a breakfast, when literally it's a single waffle maker, a toaster and some pre-packaged pastries? You have toast, but no butter for it. You have a kraft of milk, but no cereal. And the pancake batter tasted like your workers perfume that she wore that morning. Just NASTY !! Now about the room...... The floors had not been swept or mopped in who knows how long. The beds need to be completely replaced. There was not a flat area on either bed. And the bathroom was so tiny, that only one person could be in it or you couldn't close the door. No fan in the bathroom either, which is just ridiculous. The carpet down the hallway looked like it was the original from when the hotel was built in the 70's. Dirty, smelly and just disgusting. Don't believe the pictures of this hotel, because they were taken decades ago. Don't bother even thinking about this property. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN !!
