Good way station. Beds were hard, shower nozzle only had 6 holes working, but it did the job. We enjoyed our stay in Mitla.

A clean, comfortable and safe place to stay.

Hotel Calli was perfect for one night to break up a very long drive to the coast. It was very clean, the staff very helpful. They spoke some English and we felt very secure on site. The room and the grounds were well cared for. The restaurant was a little slow and the food only average. But everything was priced right.

Great Little Hotel, Amazing Price

Great location in Mitla, right across the street from the town square and the market. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of room to move around even with luggage laying about. The hotel is walking distance to almost everything in Mitla, including the Zapotec ruins. The only issue we had (which is not the hotel's fault) was the guest in the room next door left his alarm going at 6 am while he took a shower. I told the hotel staff and they quickly fixed the problem. Keep in mind, this is NOT a fancy resort. It is a modest hotel in a small town, so if you are expecting 5 star amenities, you might want to look elsewhere, but if you are there to experience the Oaxacan culture and hospitality, this is the place to stay. There is free WiFi, a beautiful pool, a gym with a few machines, secured parking, a bar, and restaurant all on site. For the price, you probably won't find a better deal. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Mexico in a few months.

Beautiful interior courtyard and architecture. Very perfunctory manner of politeness by the front desk woman (owner?). Very hard mattress. Showerhead provided streams of water that were about 4 inches apart upon contact. Upstairs room had a big door-style window that opened to a view of the magnificent mountains and the lovely town.

Local smaller town hotel,with lots of character

Right across from town square where there is lots of activity, on a street with many interesting shops. Beautiful locally crafted furniture in rooms, lovely green grounds away from the street. Staff speaks little English

Historical, Colorful, Delightful stay.

The grand daughter of the original owner was reticent to allow us to stay with a small dog, but in the end, conceded, and was gracious about it. We loved Mitla, our time was great.

Two nights in Mitla

I came to Mitla for my fiancées cousins wedding. I live in the U.S. and have never been to such a remote part of Mexico before. The hotel was fine. The staff was very friendly. Very few people speak English so make sure you know at least some Spanish. The room was acceptable. The walls were rather thin, and there was no air conditioning nor was there a way to open the window. Otherwise no complaints, I would stay there again if I return to Mitla.

La única del hotel es privilegiada, muy limpio y buena atención. Una opción muy conveniente para conocer este Pueblo Mágico, puedes exceder a todos lados (incluyendo la zona arqueológica) a pie. El lugar en general se siente muy seguro.
