We really enjoyed our stay. All of the staff were really friendly, and answered all the questions that we had. They had great selection of things to go see and do in town. The place is within walking distance to great food options. Just be aware that you would need cash for must of them. All in all, we cannot wait to return.

The hotel is in the perfect location. The area is quiet but a quick golf cart ride into the main town. There are markets nearby and golf cart rental available through the hotel. Definitely have dinner at Gonzalo and the Princess. All around wonderful experience and will definitely be back

The property is fine and in a decent location, but both pools are essentially kiddie pools in an enclosed courtyard and the pool bar is not near the beach. The room was nice, though we had a view of the side of another property. No restaurant on site, so we essentially slept there and spent our daytime at other resorts.

The property was beautiful and the staff were nice. Not too far from the water taxis and the airport. I didn’t like that the room didnt have a blow dry and an iron on hand. The bathroom sink kept clogging up, and the wifi went out for about 2 days as well as the elevator not being in service. Otherwise it was ok. Not in a bad area and good cleanliness

Bananas has the opportunity to be a solid spot but fell short in a number of areas - no cushions for hard plastic chairs loungers, kitchen only 1 has 1 fry pan per room, no pots, kettles, etc and no way to enter ocean from dock. The good news is there are plenty of nearby spots to grab a drink and enjoy their amenities including Victoria House and The Pool Bar inside Mahogany Bay.

Super clean and large room. I had a beautiful view from my balcony. The front desk and concierge were very friendly, helpful and patient. The pool bartender, Claudia was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable about the island and fun to talk to. Would stay here again and again.

We were in an ocean view 1 bedroom. The room was very nice, comfortable and had the things we needed. A separate living room made it nice too. The kitchen was okay for quick things, but it had only a skillet for cooking so you wouldn’t want to try to make a meal. Coffee in the room each morning was good. (They should have something to say not to use the tap water for it though) although we did the first day and had no problem. We enjoyed our stay. Good location and easy for parking a golf cart. No problem getting a space.

The staff and professionalism is top shelf. The property is totally renovated and it’s a great atmosphere. It’s great for stays more than 1 week. It’s not a full service hotel/resort, but they make things happen. I’ll be back.

Amenities were very limited. Kitchen supplies, bath towels, etc. No pots, toaster, basic kitchen appliances. Could have used more beach chairs, bar stools. Room had a great view, bed was very comfortable and staff was friendly and accommodating. Great location!

I would stay here over and over again. I loved everything about this property. My room was undoubtedly on the beach! It is also located near the docks to get picked up for a boating activity. The security was great and friendly. Thank you to the guard that caught the lizard for me. Also Vince the concierge was great. I would definitely recommend Bananas on the Beach to anyone that goes to Belize!
