Just steps away, you’ll find the palace, the library, and a historic church, along with a diverse selection of restaurants to suit every taste. Charming boutiques and gift shops make it easy to find something special for family and friends. The neighborhood is also consistently lively, with frequent events and activities that ensure there is always something engaging to enjoy. It’s a vibrant and welcoming location that truly has something for everyone. The hotel itself provides a comfortable stay, though the experience could be further enhanced by adding small refrigerators in the rooms and offering a wider variety of breakfast options. These improvements would make an already pleasant visit even more enjoyable.

Staff is friendly but due to the holiday there was construction right outside of our room and they worked all night. We asked about changing rooms and there was non available. The parking situation another issue since it’s around the block. The hotel is beautiful, food was great and made it work. Hopefully, the building or constructions comes to an end soon.

I love the location of this hotel. It’s situated right in the heart of Centro Historico. Very close to the Cathedral, National Palace and Biblioteca National. Dining and shopping options are exceptional. The room is clean, soft bed/pillows, nice bathroom and warm showers. Staff are also very nice and accommodating. Will recommend for everyone to stay here.

The room was clean and the staff were professional. The problem is the motel gouges the guests at every opportunity. Additionally no parking! I had to was 1/3 of a mile through very questionable areas to gain access with the motel. The rooms are small and claustrophobic. Not empressed.

The staff is excellent—always kind and willing to help. One day I wasn’t feeling well, and the receptionist kindly offered her assistance. Truly, the entire staff is very attentive and professional.

Room in good condition, but no windows (unless you book a suite which doubles the cost), overpowering cleaner fragrance smells, water would splash everywhere when showering, no hair conditioner, you have to ask for lotion or a blow dryer, noisy hallway and gap under door let too much sound in. Staff was kind, internet was good when working, had to drop a meeting when it went down due to nearby construction.

The staff was really very good. In all regards. I also loved the completely unadvertised 5th floor cocktail and dining experience looking out over the Centro historico. I almost missed it it was so discreet.

We stayed for the first 2 nights of our trip; when we checked out we found out that they had lost my mom’s trip supply of insulin (there is no fridge in the room) although they documented that was given to them to put in the kitchen fridge there was nowhere to be found! Long story short I called last day of our stay to speak to the Manager Oscar who told me that he was waiting for our call to figure out where he can meet us. We previously advised that we will be at Barcelo where their staff was waiting for the insulin drop. I asked for a complementary night as we no longer needed the insulin at the end of trip(luckily my mom had used a different one in El Salvador so she was confident to use it otherwise we would have to cancel our trip) seems that he was more concerned of the price equivalent of the room vs the life sustaining medication they lost! We did at end got a complementary night we did not use as was a bit inconvenient for us at end of the trip.. Hotel is beautiful area is great; unfortunately be prepare for a very strong sewage smell from time to time and I will definitely skip the breakfast! Overall a disappointing experience for our family due to lack of response to a very serious matter! FYI: the 4 star rating for some of the staff as they do have great people working there!
