Fantastic. Warmly greeted with fresh baked cookies. The room was spacious and very clean. Edward, at the front desk, gave me a quick tour. There is a pool, hot tub, and fire pit. They offer free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate until 10:00 pm. The free breakfast included the regular breakfast foods - cereals, toasts, yogurt, etc. but this breakfast included waffles, bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes and biscuits (very good) and gravy. The beds were very comfortable with 4 pillows each.

This hotel is perfect if you are traveling to visit Hearst Castle or any surrounding areas. Plenty of parking. Comfortable, spacious rooms. The breakfast is superb! Would definitely recommend.

This was an excellent place to stay. The rooms are getting a little dated decor-wise, but are very clean and comfortable. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and thoughtful, and the breakfast (and all-day free cookies) were delicious and made us feel at home. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Check in was easy - and staff at desk was great - actually made some chocolate chip cookies for us while we finishing up paperwork. Free coffee and tea in lobby also. The room was very clean, bathroom was updated and spotless. Beds were comfortable and room had sliding glass doors out to garden area. Breakfast was great - a step above many “free breakfast” motel stays. Bacon, eggs, country potatoes, oranges, bananas, apples, waffles, all kinds of other things. And restaurant called Manta Ray attached to motel was outstanding. Many seafood options as well as great wine list. Easy access to entrance and exit. Close to many attractions like elephant seals and small beach towns and coastal communities. Will definitely be staying there again!

Quality inn San Simeon nice stop

The room was nice. Two big queen size beds. Clean and small balcony area, Idea to seat for a coffee and chill. The restaurant on the site served some very nice food and wine. It’s in a quiet area with views to the ocean just over the road.

I was a little apprehensive due to some comments/reviews others have made, however, room was clean and quiet, cookies and tea/coffee at reception, buffet breakfast, no dog fee, and even Snickers bars at check-out. I would definitely stay there again.
