Clean & Cozy Home Near Downtown, Hiking, Biking!

This clean, cozy home sits on a tree lined street in a beautiful neighborhood. It has original hardwood floors throughout. The home is mere blocks to dining, grocery & downtown. Just 3.4 mi. to the Schweitzer shuttle (base of Schweitzer) and 1/2 mi. to City Beach. We provide 5 bikes June-September.

The kitchen has quality cookware and a gas stove for dining in. There is a Smart TV that includes a complimentary Netflix account and other apps available. We’ve provided games, coloring books and books. There is a partially fenced back yard with a charcoal bbq, chiminea and chairs and 5 bikes available June through September.

In addition to standard cleaning, the home is disinfected and aired out between each guest.

We’ve left you a manual with our favorite coffee shops, dining and activities!

BEDROOMS, BATHROOM
*All beds have 100% cotton high quality linens. All towels are 100% cotton.

Bedroom #1- Queen bed with door to bathroom, wardrobe and dresser.

Bedroom #2- Twin Bunk beds with door to bathroom, dressers, closet.

Bathroom- Full bathroom with tub/shower combo and doors leading to both bedrooms.

OUTDOOR SPACE
We’ve provided 5 bikes June - September. The back yard has a ton of blackberry bushes you can help yourself to! It is partially fenced and has a charcoal bbq and chiminea. The front porch has seating for two and a small table.

As the property manager, I set a high standard for home maintenance, cleanliness and communication with guests.

*RE DOGS: We do allow well behaved, house trained dogs as long as you can comply with the following rules, no exceptions. Dogs must stay off of ALL furniture and linens, you must clean up after them outside and their nails MUST be recently trimmed short. We have original hard wood floors and dog nails scratch them up. Pet fee of $60 collected through VRBO after booking. This helps cover the cost of extra cleaning.

Just Okay.

First, Jen was very responsive. She got back to me quickly and the house was well stocked with cooking, laundry, bathroom essentials. BUT, I would not rent it again. First, the only air conditioner in the house is ONE small window unit in the living room. It was so ridiculously hot in that house that we all slept terrible. I ended up sleeping on the couch (not comfortable) the second night just to be near the air conditioning. There are two fans provided that I set up in the bedroom doorway to help push cold air to the back rooms. But even that didn’t help. We bought another 2 fans and that helped somewhat, but for a house that is advertised as having air conditioning
.I was disappointed. Second, the houses is also advertised as sleeping 6 people. Uh, that’s a stretch! It technically would IF you set up the “double floor mattress” that is stashed in the back closet
and the only place to do that is in the living room. So you’d be stepping over whoever sleeping there. Plus, the bathroom is only accessed by walking through one of the two bedrooms. So, don’t plan on renting this house for more than one family. And lastly, the owner put the house up for sale on the last day we were there. So I’m not sure how relevant this review will even be if the house sells. But my husband was outside on work calls and he had multiple people stopping by and asking him questions about the house. It was annoying. Plus, the bunk bed mattresses were terrible and the front yard is overgrown.

Roomy House in Prime Location

We really enjoyed our stay in this large older house. All the rooms are a decent size and much of the house has been updated. The location is great - an easy walk to all of downtown Sandpoint (restaurants, bars, parks, waterfront, grocery stores) and half hour drive to Schweitzer. Jen was very responsive to questions. We would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful home with everything we needed. Fully equipped kitchen as well as a charcoal grill in the backyard. Amazing location 3 blocks from 2 grocery stores, Kokanee Coffee and 7B Fitness. Jen was very easy to communicate with. It was a pleasure staying here and we hope to be back someday.

Great ski trip!

My family of 3 rented Jen's house for our Schweitzer ski trip. It was our first time to Sandpoint or Schweitzer so wasn't sure what to expect. The house is comfortable and centrally located, super close to grocery stores and restaurants. It is only about a 20 min drive to the mountain. Jen's recommendations to the local restaurants were great; we ate at the Fat Pig twice and walked to Evans Brothers Coffee every day.

Modern Bungalow.

Wonderful renovated bungalow located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We skied at Schweitzer which is an easy trip by car and enjoyed the town for 5 days. The owner was very helpful and everything was perfect.
