Sunny's Cottage is a lovely 1315 square foot pet-friendly, ground level mid-century modern, low-country coastal vibe home, tucked away in lush tropical foliage in the mid-island Tahitian Gardens neighborhood. It is located in the heart of Sanibel, and you can easily walk to the Sanibel Cafe, retail shops, Periwinkle Place, and Jerry's Grocery.
There are several spaces to entertain or relax and unwind outside after a day of shelling, fishing, swimming, birding or exploring. You can relax on the outdoor sectional sofa with a book, a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail. You can grill your fresh catch on the outdoor gas grill and dine al fresco at the outdoor table that seats 6. Likewise, indoor entertaining is a breeze with the spacious state-of-the art kitchen and great room space. Stream your favorite music playlists while you prepare a meal, work remotely or settle in to your favorite arts and crafts projects.
With LVP floors throughout the entire home, the interior provides an open and spacious living room decorated in soothing low-country colors, and the screened lanai brings the outdoors in. The mature vegetation surrounding the house provides privacy and is a perfect backdrop for bird and butterfly watching.
The living room has a comfy sectional and a Smart TV with streaming options, and complimentary Starlink Satellite internet service is provided.
The newly updated kitchen is well-appointed with stainless steel appliances, a pantry, and every accoutrement you would need to prepare meals to entertain friends and family. There is a breakfast table that seats four, and you can enjoy views of the pool or remain in the mix of any activities or conversations that are taking place in the kitchen or living area.
Sunny's Cottage features a split floor plan, with the primary bedroom being on the west side of the house. It has a King bed, a walk-in closet and an en-suite 3-piece bathroom with a quartz top vanity and shower. There is also a small desk that is perfect spot for work or your daily sunscreen and beauty regimen to occur.
The guest bedrooms are on the opposite side of the house, with one King guest bedroom and another with a Twin trundle bed. Each features serene colors of sunrise and a Smart TV. They are alongside a shared 3-piece bathroom with an oversized single vanity and tub/shower combination.
The single car garage is where you will find beach chairs, a washer-dryer, and additional storage.
Whether you bike or ride to a nearby beach, two are very close by. Tarpon Bay Road beach access is 2.1 miles away, while Algiers Beach is 2.4 miles away. The Sanibel Recreation Center is 3.7 miles away, and Jerry's Grocery is 7/10 of a mile away. And, the famous Sunday Sanibel Farmers Market is only 9/10 of a mile away. You can purchase a beach parking permit or use the pay-per-hour app stations located at each lot.
