El Hotel Equinoccio es un lugar hermoso frente al Lago Coatepeque. Desde el primer momento encontramos un espacio limpio, cuidado y con un ambiente especial. Pudimos participar en la ceremonia del Equinoccio de otoño, organizada por el hotel, que fue algo muy lindo y significativo. También vivimos una experiencia distinta con Juan López, barista del hotel, quien nos ofreció una demostración de café excelente, explicada con detalle y pasión. La comida y las bebidas siempre salían a tiempo, bien preparadas y con muy buen sabor. Al final, lo que marca la diferencia son las personas: quiero resaltar el trabajo de Eduardo, siempre atento y servicial. Además, la estadía incluye el desayuno y las actividades acuáticas como el kayak, lo cual añade mucho valor. Si hubiera algo que recomendar para mejorar, sería tener un itinerario visible de las actividades tal vez en una pizarrita en el vestíbulo, sería un detalle muy útil para los huéspedes. Definitivamente, un lugar al que me encantaría regresar.

Beautiful property with great facilities for meals on site. Wonderful covered two-story dock with fantastic view. We took their kayaks out in the morning for peaceful trip around lake - jet ski was also available. The road around the lake is pretty rough but once we got to the hotel, this was a perfect hideaway. Definitely recommend. El Salvador is the up and coming Central American vacation spot.

The view and access to Lake Coatepeque us amazing. I have now stayed 4 tomes at this location because I love the view and access to the lake. The kitchen/ restaurant staff are simply wonderful BUT the reception lady who is part owner and her reception ladies are rude, need customer service training

Great view of the lake. They have activities like kayaking (complimentary) and jetski (for rent). The staff is okay can be more attentive. Be warned: the road that leads to the hotel is really hard to drive in. All in all nice place with great views. They provide free breakfast and have food and liquor available.

It was such an amazing stay. We stayed two night. I personally think 2-3 nights is ideal since it hard to get out and come in. The dirt road to the hotel in has a lot of potholes. Would definitely stay here again

For foreigners, you have to go 20 minutes down a rock road which runs along the lake. Plenty of options for restaurants along the way. Fairly easy to locate, I would stress that you do not attempt to drive to or from here at night because of the road. The restaurant/bar on site had great food and I ate here each night. Decent alcohol selection. The views are the lake make it worth staying and only a hour or less out from major sites, I used it as my home base. Staff were fantastic
