Its just an old property. Motel 6 tries to take good care of but after time it shows it's old age. Price was great and location was great. Staff was spectacular. Not sure I would stay again because of the old mattresses.

Meh. But fine to crash for the night.

Carpinteria is an expensive area, and this is a budget place -great for a night crash. Ask to have a room away from the road/highway for more quiet. Nice staff. Very budget rooms. Clean, rooms showing their age.

Had 2 rooms. Couldn’t get 2 connected. At least one on the 1st floor was mine handicapped. The air was hard to get it adjusted but it was very quiet. The other room on the 3rd floor had a Oder. Over all I would stay there again.

Nice and safe stay, even though close to highway😉

The stay was pretty good! My only complaint was that it’s right near the highway and the noise of the traffic is a bit loud. You get somewhat used to the noise throughout the night. The area is safe and was not worried about our car being broken into, so that is a definite plus! Comfy bed and pillows!

Terrible beds.

We booked the hotel because of a concert in SB. When we got to the hotel room, the beds were a joke. They were "full sized" basically cots with thin mattresses that were shoved in a space so close together that you could sit on one bed and have your knees touch the other. There was no way anyone but a child or someone intoxicated would be able to sleep on those beds. The bathroom was also weird and small. We ended up grabbing our stuff after the concert and driving the 2 and half hours home just to sleep in our own beds.

The stay was inexpensive for the area, but what it lacked, was not worth the trade off. Staff is wonderful, especially Dot. However rooms are tiny and worn out, with thread bare sheets and towels. Bedding actually dips in the middle with worn out mattresses and is hard. Towels are more the size of large hand towels. Very old pillows. No coffee maker. Shampoo and conditioner are in two tiny packets. Not even enough for one person . If the price difference between here and a higher rated hotel is 40 dollars, just pay the difference and have a better stay.
