Sneaky good Inn on the Cliff.

Unique Inn with wonderful location. Friendly staff Continental Breakfast delivered to your room was delightful. Close to Capitola village and beach very walkable. Views from the large patio deck are impressive.

Pretty, quaint little house walk to Cap Esplanade

This is a pretty, quaint, very clean, property. We were in the Holiday House, which is a separate little house with full kitchen and deck. Easy, close, walk to the Esplanade. The drawbacks in the house is that the pillows are like a flat sponge. There is no cushion or fluff to them. The linens are washed with a fragrance detergent or maybe fabric softener, so if you are sensitive to that, be aware. The many windows are covered with wood blinds and shear curtains, but you will wake up at dawn with all the light coming in, so bring an eye cover, lol.

The view from this property is amazing. It is right on the ocean. We saw whales spouting as we sat on our patio. It is an older property, but kept up well. We even had breakfast served in our room.

Wonderful and Welcoming!

Wonderful and more inviting than I expected. Welcoming and serene setting with a beautiful butterfly garden, views of the ocean, and excellent service all around. Will definitely stay again with family.

The Monarch Cove Inn room accommodations are very nice but could use a larger bar of soap in the bath. So comfortable with separate spaces for relaxing and kitchen for cooking... My husband and I could sit right outside the front door and have a bite to eat . So peaceful. The view of the bay was perfect. We also had the opportunity to see the Monarch butterflies on the property, assist with finding the little caterpillars and observing their habitat. The continental breakfast was an unexpected treat as it was an abundance of fruit and diverse pastry, bagel and cream cheese, coffee and juice served on a platter that looked like it was given much thought and prep time. So appreciated. Loved it! Exceptional staff! A charming spot to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Staff was great and accommodating. Great location, quiet and secure. All plugs in the room, needed replacing, plugs would not stay plugged in. Fan in Bathroom didn't work. Passed this on when we departed and they thanked us for the info as most guests depart and leave no comments.

Great stay at this little gem

We took a last-minute trip to Capitola and booked a room at this Inn. The room was spacious and adorable and the beds were really comfortable. The office staff are incredibly sweet and accommodating. The morning breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend.
