The Space:
Soak in the sunshine in this charming coastal cottage located a short walk to Sunny Cove and many other beaches of Pleasure Point. Short-term Rental Permit #161305.

This older home has been updated yet retains its charm with a large, lovely yard to relax in after your full day at the beach, a large sunny porch, a front deck with a peek of the ocean, and a backyard patio with a barbecue and outdoor seating. 

The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a full bed, and the third bedroom has two twins. There is an updated kitchen with dining area, a lovely living room with a fireplace and flat screen TV, and a laundry room with washer and dryer.

This cottage is located across the street from a dog friendly beach. One dog is allowed to stay at the cottage with the payment of a $50 non-refundable pet fee that will be charged once the booking is confirmed.

Within a few blocks from a Starbucks, East Cliff Brewery, the Sunday Farmer's market and several restaurants, this location is one of the best in Santa Cruz!!  Pleasure Point provides all the benefits of the quintessential California beach life, from the dog-friendly beaches to the host of dining options catering to all culinary tastes. A quick 10 minute drive to the Boardwalk and Capitola Village, yet tucked away on a quiet street just steps from the beach.  Only 40 minutes from San Jose International Airport and 1 œ hours south of San Francisco.  Monterey, Cannery Row, the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium and beautiful Pebble Beach and Carmel are only a 30 to 45 minute drive south.  The options are endless!

Beach bungalow heaven!

My husband and I rented this property to have a family vacation with our adult kids and our granddaughter. The neighborhood is delightful and so very quiet! It was so great to have the beach just hundreds of feet from the front door. Also, great beach access just down the block. The house is decorated beautifully with a boho beach vibe. Loved it! We will return again hopefully this fall!

Cute Cottage in Perfect Location

We enjoyed our stay in this cute rental which is just minutes walk from the beach. The location is very convenient and perfect. House is old but has a cozy cottage vibe. Kitchen utensils and beach supplies may need to be updated and stocked up but it was sufficient. Recommend it for a small family with kids who wants to have some beach fun due to it's easy access to the beach!

All about the location

The location was incredible. Fantastic lookout to the Pacific in a parklet right up the street, short walk to the Boardwalk. We mainly used the house as a place to sleep as we went on adventures in Aptos, Capitola, Moss Landing and around Santa Cruz. We had a mix-up at the beginning but Diana was incredibly responsive and accommodating in resolving the issue.

Perfect location!

This unit was closer to the beach than I imagined! It took us 3 minutes each way - a definite bonus! The beach was great too; not too crowded at all. Beach house was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

My sister in law and I stayed here with our adult daughters. We walked 5 mins to the beach and enjoyed the charm of the home! Super easy access, quiet neighborhood, and fun towns to check out or hang out in the nice rear yard for happy hour before heading out for dinner. Beds were comfy too! No ice maker in fridge/freezer.

Perfect location for a beach getaway

You couldn't ask for a better location - walk to beaches, restaurants, Starbucks and a couple of small markets. Plenty of room for families. My only suggestion is to get a more comfortable sofa - the one they have now is not comfortable at all, but it was worth it for the location. The patio was also perfect for outdoor dining.

Adorable ocean themed cottage

Walking out in the morning and seeing the ocean at the end of the street was an amazing experience. Extremely close to the beach, coffee and food. Such a relaxing experience! The only improvement would be more mirrors because there was only one in the bathroom. Would strongly recommend staying here, but I’d just throw a mirror in my bag.

epic location and great spot

loved the location- visiting family all over Santa Cruz and it was amazing to wake up at sunny cove every day! around the corner from delicious burritos and down the road from cat and cloud coffee..so happy. we took full advantage of the big and sunny backyard- we were so comfortable here!

Cute beach cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this cute cottage. The kitchen was bright and cheerful, and we loved having a side deck plus a generous backyard with a barbecue. It was great to be only a short walk to the beach, and the live oak farmers market! Thank you.
