SUMMARY

Santa Fe is world-famous as a Mecca for fine art and its creators. Andrew Dasburg is one of the many celebrated artists who called Santa Fe home, and Two Casitas is proud to represent the stunning property that was built for him in 1923. Dasburg was an early adopter, promoter, and innovator in the cubist style and is recognized as one of the most important artists in the Modernist movement. His love for Santa Fe’s unique style not only influenced his work, but is embodied in this home, which is constructed in the traditional adobe style, and is bursting with authentic Southwestern accents. The home is an art lover’s dream, and is a quick walk to Santa Fe’s arts district, Canyon Road.



LIVING AREA

The main home has three separate and unique living spaces. The primary living space features tall ceilings, an extensive library, and an elevated yoga studio/office. An informal sitting room is placed just off the kitchen. A den is located downstairs, and offers a cozy gathering space for watching TV.



KITCHEN AND DINING

The kitchen offers plenty of counter space on the high-end butcher block island. The counters surrounding the high-end appliances are stainless steel for easy cleaning, and blend perfectly with this home’s rustic elegance.



The breakfast nook is open to the kitchen and offers seating for four. The formal dining space is just off the kitchen and seats eight.



BED AND BATH

The primary suite has a king bed and a decorative Kiva fireplace. The enormous and luxurious en-suite bathroom has a gigantic bath tub, a walk-in shower, a walk-in closet, double vanities and a sauna. The suite off of the den also has a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The third suite in the main home has access to a bathroom in the hallway that also features a walk-in shower.



The casita is separate from the main home and can be accessed via the yard. The casita has its own kitchen, living room/office, bathroom, and bedroom with a queen bed, making it a perfect space for any members of your group that want some independence.



Please note that air conditioning is available in the primary bedroom and casita ONLY.



OUTDOOR SPACE

Casa Dasburg’s outdoor spaces are expansive, lush, and among the most stunning in Santa Fe. The two yards offer distinct styles and functions. The front yard is planted with an explosively colorful variety of local foliage, offering an unforgettable and peaceful setting that you will never want to leave. The backyard features a beautiful lawn with outdoor seating and dining, along with a gas grill for cooking.

Wonderful Location and Accomodation

We wanted to spend Thanksgiving in Santa Fe with family and friends. We saw this listing and it exceeded all expectations. The home was perfection and the location was within walking distance to Canyon Road

Great immaculate home within walking distance to Canyon Road and the square. The staff was excellent to work with and I highly recommend the charcuterie tray they offered for purchase. It was a beautifully displayed tray of local goodies which did not disappoint!

Beautiful home!

The house was great for our group, we cooked a lot which was a breeze as the kitchen was well stocked and all of the appliances were in good shape. The location is amazing, easy communicating with the host and overall just great vibes in the home.

This is the second time we have rented this home. It’s the perfect place for us, close to The Plaza and art galleries and great dining. We also love cooking for our group and the kitchen is a beautiful, well stocked gathering place. We look forward to staying again!

Perfect house in a great location

Beautiful house and grounds. Very well set up for a family or group. Places to enjoy inside and outside. So nicely furnished and comfortable. Great location for exploring Santa Fe. We walked to several restaurants and around the neighborhood, but it is also easy to access by car. Highly recommend this property.

Two family ski trip

We stayed here with another family from Houston for our spring break. Had an amazing time. What a beautiful house in such an excellent location. The owner was so easy to work with and communicate with. I would highly recxomed this house to anyone who has a large family, multi family set up, or groups of couples the lay out is great. And again the location in such proximity to Canyon road and the Plaza is tough to beat.

Absolutely beautiful home with lots of space for a family.

We spent Thanksgiving in this fabulous home and had the experience we had hoped for. My family, husband, two children and their spouses, one 3 year old. Beautiful Home!

What an amazing property! After not traveling for long time, decided to take my mother and a friend to Santa Fe... this house made the trip really incredible. So comfortable and stylish. Love the location and easy access to Canyon Road. Beautiful home off Canyon Road

We just enjoyed a wonderful week celebrating my moms 80th in Santa Fe. This home was absolutely perfect for our group of 8. There are so many different areas within the the home to enjoy and each room and outdoor space is more beautiful than the next. The kitchen is well appointed, the beds extremely comfortable and there is plenary of seating everywhere to enjoy all the spaces. I hope to visit again!

Beautiful Home in Santa Fe

We were so happy to be all together as a family for Thanksgiving during COVID in such a beautiful home. The home was artistically and comfortably decorated and had plenty of spaces for our family of 6 to enjoy time together or apart, reading, doing yoga, working 1,000 piece puzzles and, of course cooking up a storm. The kitchen was well equipped and the 3 chefs among us delivered fantastic meals for us to enjoy. We will be back!

Private retreat steps from Canyon Road

This was the perfect winter getaway spot. No Santa Fe kitsch here—this is a spectacular old home thoughtfully updated with a beautiful mix of old and new pieces. There are many cozy spots on multiple levels to enjoy a drink, play games or read so that guests aren’t on top of one another. We especially loved the dining room, a step down from the beautiful kitchen, overlooking a patio, and the library, which is the perfect spot for morning coffee. The ample outdoor spaces were beautiful even in winter. In summer, this would be the perfect place to gather with friends and family and cook at home or walk to favorite restaurants and bars on Canyon Road. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking equipment and staples. The trailheads for several great day hikes are a short drive from the house, all of them accessible when we visited mid-March. We are eager to return with our whole family!
