Experience Country Life Near Trails & Museum Hill
Experience country life in the heart of Santa Fe. There is blissful solitude about this classically designed home set against the natural landscape of pinon pine, wildflowers and distant mountain views. Wildlife abounds and the 2 acres of grounds are gated and fenced with a large entrance courtyard waiting for friends to gather. Casa Tatum, designed by one of Santa Fe's most respected architects, John Gaw Meem, reflects his Pueblo Revival architecture for which he is so well-known. The simple elegance of white plaster against the earthen adobe created the canvas for the authenticity of an excellent renovation.
John Gaw Meem, had the foresight to put in place the design regulation for the city of Santa Fe which dictates the city landscape of today.
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Tatum. The property is beautiful, with a lovely courtyard and nice, fenced yard for wandering around. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice, as are the linens and towels, and the kitchen is cozy but very functional and well equipped.Caroline was very helpful getting us checked in and showing us around the property. We didn't end up needing to contact her for anything during our stay, but I'm sure she would have been very responsive. All around a lovely stay.
The house was beautiful with gorgeous furnishings and a kitchen with quality pans and pots and almost everything you might need.
We all appreciated that. There is limited counter space.
The views were terrific and while we couldnât use the outside spaces they were amazing. This is a truly a classic adobe which we appreciated.
While this house was advertised as pet friendly it really isnât. Our small non-shedding service dog was accepted.
We all wished that there was an armoire inside the front door, it was inconvenient to have jackets and coats and shoes and boots organized. It was important to have the vacuum available.
We have been coming to Santa Fe at least twice a year for 20 years, and this is the nicest place in which we have ever stayed.
