Beautiful owner-managed beach home. Walk to beach, trail, restaurants, shops

Casa Verde is a beautiful new cottage-style home completed in July 2013 and is conveniently located just off 30-A in the beach community of Santa Rosa Beach. This home contains 2000 sq ft of living space and has been tastefully decorated with comfort in mind. The home is located in 'Beach Nest' which is a 5 min walk to the beautiful white sand beaches of the Emerald Coast. The beach access area includes on-duty lifeguards, a covered picnic area with BBQ grills, changing rooms with showers and restrooms and parking. This family friendly neighborhood consists of only 9 homes which share a community pool. The pool is located diagonally across the drive from Casa Verde. This home is perfect for a large family or couples traveling together. There are a total of four bedrooms. Three bedrooms have en-suite baths and each with queen beds. The 4th bedroom contains a twin over full bunk with twin trundle (sleeps 4) and has a full bath across the hall. The main floor master suite has a private deck and beautiful tiled walk-in shower. The living room and bonus room each have a queen sleeper. In the living room you will enjoy a 65 inch flat screen TV and blu-ray player. The upstairs bonus room with balcony includes a 50 inch flat screen TV, blu-ray player, playstation2, Wii and games for the kids. When you need some privacy it is a comfortable area to relax. Each bedroom has a TV and blu-ray player. There is satellite TV, home phone with unlimited U.S. long distance calling and wireless internet. The fully equipped kitchen features granite counters and stainless steel appliances. All floors are hand sculpted hardwood with the exception of tiled bathrooms. This home includes a separate utility room with a large capacity washer and dryer. Outdoors is a private patio featuring a gas BBQ grill with side burner for your use as well as a firepit.

Santa Rosa Beach is a community conveniently located between Destin and the Watercolor/Seaside area. It was named one of the '10 Best Beach Destinations for 2011' by Yahoo! Travel. It offers an endless array of indoor and outdoor activities. This less congested area of 30-A is within walking distance to local restaurants, cafes and boutiques. Gulf Place is a short walk and features outdoor shopping, local artists and cafes. Many of the cafes offer outdoor dining and live music. Goatfeather's Restaurant and Seafood Market as well as Local Catch are just across 30-A. The local Publix grocery store is a short drive. Bike, yolo board and kayak rentals are available on 30-A across from Goatfeather's. The area is the most relaxing place we have ever been. It is true that the minute you turn onto 30-A your blood pressure drops at least 10 points!

Destin is located less than 15 miles west and offers family entertainment including a marina with deep sea fishing, scuba/snorkeling, waverunner rentals, parasailing, dolphin excursions, a water park, go carts, miniature golf and plenty of shopping including Silver Sands Premium Outlets. For those seeking the 'nightlife' there are numerous opportunities.

East of Santa Rosa Beach are other 30-A communities including Grayton Beach which is home to the famous Red Bar and less than a 10 min drive. Numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and boutiques are located in these communities.

We have invested much time and love into making Casa Verde our home away from home. It is our hope you will experience this as well. We welcome all inquires and look forward to hearing from you.

The home is very comfortable, beautiful decor, and spacious. The washer and dryer was a big hit since we had four families staying in the house. The walk to the beach was easy and the shops and dining were within walking distance. Our family has been going to Florida for 19 years and renting property. I am so glad we found this home, it is a gem. If you are looking to rent a four bedroom home, this home is a must for you. Everything I read in the reviews were factual and accurate. Tami has the paper goods stocked and they are of good quality not the ones you can see through. Also, she has all types of spices stocked for your convenience. Tami was so cordial and prompt in communication with her. Again, you must rent this home.

Amazing! We chose it because of the 10/10 ratings - and we fully agree!! It was all perfect. We’ve stayed in many VRBOs and many vacation stays - and this one was in the tops. Everything perfectly well-stocked and well outfitted for a super comfy stay. Everything you could need in the kitchen, so many towels in all the bathrooms and the kitchen, great beach chairs and boogie boards. The best hairdryer I’ve ever used in a rental. Comfy sitting space. Solidly built and well maintained. No creaky floors, no shotty furniture. Just so many great things and for an excellent value price. — Really no complaints from any of our party which included my 70 year old dad through my tween kids and adults in between! Few little things to know — if you’re wanting to play the video games, bring batteries. There isn’t really a sunny outdoor sitting space if you’re looking for a spot for morning coffee - but the beach is such a short little walk or drive away! Speaking of which - the walk to the beach is super easy - but if you want / need to drive, we were surprised by how easy it was to park at the public beach access right in front of the water. All in all —- if you’re considering this and not sure, think no further. Book it!!

Casa Verde was great. The proximity to the beach access was great. We walked it everyday with 5 kids and it was never overwhelming/cumbersome. Only about an 7 min. walk. Close enough to walk and/or ride to coffee shop, restaurants, and only 15 min. drive to Publix. Tami was easy to communicate with and very prompt in her responses.The house itself was wonderful and very clean. It had everything we needed.Thanks for such a great stay!

Family Beach Trip 2025

9 family members ranging in age from 10 to 65 stayed at Casa Verde and had a great week. The owner, Tamra, was an excellent host. The home was perfect for our group the decor was beautiful, the amenities plentiful, and the location was very convenient. We were within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, a bike path, and a nature trail. There were plenty of options a short drive away as well (including shopping, state parks, and much more). The grandkids enjoyed the on-site community pool. Our whole group was impressed with all the thoughtful items provided at Casa Verde. We had a fully stocked kitchen and outdoor grill, beach gear galore, and a plethora of games, puzzles, and electronic devices. We would definitely stay here again!

Consistently Perfect

This was our second stay at Casa Verde. Tami is a wonderful, responsive host. The house is perfect for 9 adults and children 10-14. It was like coming home again. Everything was as consistently perfect as it was two years ago when we stayed there. The house is clean, well stocked and located within walking distance to the beach. The walk is an easy 10 minutes at most. One amazing observation we commented on, was that all 9 of us took back to back showers getting ready for dinner each night and none of us ran out of hot water! There are 3 showers in the home and we were running them at the same time! It was pleasantly surprising. We will most definitely stay here again the next time we visit. There is seriously not one thing we can complain about. Tami literally thought of everything. There was plenty of everything we needed. The beds, sheets and blankets are all amazingly clean and comfortable. The house is perfectly situated too. One night, we even walked to the area where there are restaurants and shopping (take a right on 30A at the stop sign). That walk was about 20 minutes, but it was nice not to have to deal with parking. We highly recommend staying at Casa Verde.

Amazing Summer Getaway

Tami was such an amazing host! She was quick to respond to any questions regarding our stay. Check-in was very easy as well. For our trip, we stayed 9 nights and she had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, spices, foil, zip-locks, etc. Toiletries are fully stocked as well. Everything was clean. ] There were 9 of us on our trip and there was room for us all. The pool is located close, which was nice for the littles on our trip. The entry to the beach is close to an easy 8 minute walk - this doesn't include the time to find your spot on the beach. She had a few beach chairs, boogie boards, and some beach toys. We rented a golf cart which was helpful at times to transport the littles down to the beach (there is parking for golf carts/cars near the entry of the beach - restrooms are available there as well), as well as spending the evenings driving around 30A. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, with everything you need, this is your place! Great memories were made and we would definitely return to Tami's place.

Casa Verde

First time in Florida, and we came with multiples families and young children. Location was excellent: quiet, central, easily accessible. Tamra was extremely easy to get a hold of, and you can see the love she put into Casa Verde in every corner and every well stocked drawer. Will definitely be back!

Such a great property!

Our family of ten had a wonderful experience staying in this property. The home is beautiful, including all of the beach-themed furnishings. The kitchen is about as well-stocked as any vacation property we’ve rented. It was a short walk to a long, beautiful, white sand beach. We enjoyed the paved path near the home and took numerous walks. Tami was amazing, always super attentive and responsive when we had questions. I highly recommend this property!

The perfect getaway!

We absolutely loved staying in this house! Everything was provided that we could have imagined and even more so. It was a very manageable walk to the beach. We had no major issues, just a minor inconvenience with the wifi which we reached out to the owner and she responded within minutes and the problem was resolved shortly after. This home had ample space for our entire group and the neighborhood is just so cozy. With a walking trail that goes through the state forest just a short walk down the road, this rental with its location has something to offer everyone. Great house and location

This house had everything you would ever need when going on a beach vacation. Perfect size for our group of 11 including an infant. Within walking distance of beach. We also enjoy cooking meals when on vacation and the kitchen was fully stocked to do so. And to top it off, Tamara is amazing to deal with! Would highly recommend and will stay again!!

Casa Verde - Beach Vacation 2024

This beautiful Santa Rosa Beach home was absolutely perfect for our July 2024 family vacation. The owner was great in communicating with us in advance of our trip and answered all of our questions quickly and politely. "Casa Verde" is located in the "Beach Nest" neighborhood and is a short 7 minute walk to the beach. Sometimes we walked and sometimes we shuttled our group to and from the beach by car. Our family included seven adults and one teenager. The home with its four separate bedrooms and ample/convenient bathrooms accommodated our needs perfectly. The open kitchen/dining/family room space was perfect. The kitchen provided all of the cooking and serving utensils that we needed. The washer and dryer are conveniently located with access off of the kitchen. The outdoor patio area is well shaded and includes a propane grill and a storage box which includes a beach umbrella and chairs. Two parking spaces are provided at the front of the house and a third reserved space is available nearby. The pool, which was a must have for our group, is a very short walk and is reserved for the exclusive use of the 9 homes in the "Beach Nest" neighborhood. This is a very safe and quiet area.

The house was beautiful! We loved the open floor plan on the main level which gave our group of 10 adults a place to hang out together, cook together, etc. without being too crowded. The kitchen, laundry room, and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed. We did buy groceries, but all the other incidentals were already there which was so nice. There were plenty of beach chairs for our group and a beach umbrella. We rode bikes to the beach but you could easily walk there as well. The location is perfect! In a quiet neighborhood, but so close to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Home Away From Home

Absolutely amazing!

We had an amazing stay at Casa Verde. The house was so clean with enough linens and towels for our family of 14. Beds were comfortable and each bedroom but one had attached bathrooms but the 4th bathroom was very close to the 4th bedroom. The little side patio was a huge plus for our family so we had another area to hang out. The pool is super close and was never too busy even with other families staying in other homes. The walk to the beach is doable with our crowd and you can’t beat the beaches. Tami is a wonderful host! Quick to respond to any questions we had! We would definitely come back and stay here. We all enjoyed ourselves so much! Thanks again for opening your beautiful home to us Tami!

Great, Quiet Location on 30A

This was our second stay in this neighborhood - we love the quiet location with proximity to the beach, the community pool and some nearby food spots. The house itself was extremely well equipped for our large group, with plenty of towels, kitchen items and even toiletries. The only issue we had was with cleanliness - we encountered bugs that made our stay not as pleasant, which we understand is common for Florida’s climate but perhaps could have been prevented with more thorough cleaning.

Our stay here was great! The house was spotless and the kitchen was well-stocked. The owner seemed very responsive and helpful, although we didn't run into any issues that required contacting her. Short walk to the beach.

Santa Rosa wedding

Property owner was fantastic! We chatted about the property when reserved; we received a detail narrative of the particulars of the house a week before arrival; and we chatted on check-in day and were allowed to arrive early. And we chatted after departure. Very friendly! The home is layed out great and is in a super central location. Everything in the house worked perfectly and it was well equipped with everything you could need including everything you could need for the beach. Highly recommend this property and owner!
