Everything was perfect except communication. When we arrived, we had to call the office for the gate code and garage code. Neither were right, so we had to call again. Also, the listing says an umbrella and 2 chairs are provided, but the person in charge of set up did not have us on the list. These communication issues were frustrating, but the place itself, the view and location are amazing!
Pros- master bath shower was great. Condo was clean. Beach service was good
Cons- elevator worked for less than 24 hours during 7 days. Numerous contact with property manager resulted in them stating was HOA responsibility. Elevator quit working on day of arrival (Sunday). A tech was sent on Friday. The elevator stopped working by Saturday morning.
The quality of our vacation was affected by this as we had an infant to be carried plus two of our party have knee issues in addition to having to carry groceries.
The kitchen was not well stocked. One skillet and a few pots. No cookie sheets. Lots of cutlery and plates, etc. Fridge water dispenser had the "filter" message displayed.
There were no spices, salt, pepper etc. While this isn't required we have never been in a vacation condo where the basic spices weren't there .
Garage pinpad is worn out. Pin worked 3 times total. The rest of the time we had to go inside to open and close the garage door.
Parking is very tight. That was ok for us but anything bigger than an explorer would possibly have issues.
House is in a great location. Can be noisy at night but we were there at spring break so it was very crowded. Beach chairs at beach a big plus. Being so close to beach a big plus. House is overall very nice. The bathrooms need some caulking around tubs and showers. The cable TV went out for a whole day. We called management company but they never did anything about it so we called cable company ourselves to get fixed. Kitchen was stocked well. The biggest problem we had was on our second day there we went out to the grocery and left our teenage daughter at the house. She went outside to look at the beach and upon returning there was a man in the house. Said he was there to work on the refrigerator. Needless to say our daughter was freaked out and called us immediately. We got the man on the phone and he said it was standard practice for them to enter houses without notifying anyone. We notified the management company and were told that was not true but they had no explanation why this happened. We cut our grocery shopping short to get back to house. The man had already left, however there were puddles of water everywhere in the kitchen. It ruined bags of food we had sitting on the counter. And the ice maker never worked the rest of the week. So not sure what he was even working on???
We hate to give this place a bad review because the owners have a very nice place but safety is very important and the management company they use should be replaced!
Great property, ideal location 2 minute walk to the beach. Loved the free beach chair service. Condo was spacious with 3 large bedrooms. Kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and utensils.
Highly recommend and will stay there again.
Property was perfect for our family. View was amazing and few steps away from the beach. Kids loved having their own bathrooms. Only issue was ice maker in the fridge did not work properly and it would have been nice if the pool would have been heated. Would definitely stay in this condo again.
Clean and well appointed.
The kitchen was very well equipped which is huge for us.
Lots of room. comfortable furniture.
Being back a bit from the beach wasn't a problem
because of the great peekaboo view.
Loved the location. Loved the garage parking and short walk to beach. Overall, well kept and clean home. Good sized kitchen with updated appliances. Plenty of sitting room as well as places to eat. The outdoor balcony had plenty of room and sitting options as well. Also loved the extra pillows available in the closets! Many many positives. Only thing worth mentioning possibly would be that the tile flooring throughout home may need some work (couple of cracks/loose tile pieces), and maybe switch out the carpet in the bedrooms at some point. There was a burn hole in one of the bedrooms, but nothing that made you think the carpets were gross lol. Would recommend this home and would rent again!
