Welcome to the freshly renovated, ‘Splendor in the Sand.’ This coastal paradise, located on the beloved Venice Circle, offers plenty of space, an aesthetic atmosphere, and much more.

As guests pull onto the peaceful Venice Circle and park in the private driveway a recently renovated sanctuary with all new designer furnishings awaits at this luxury beach home. An inviting, open-air front porch, featuring rocking chairs and Adirondack seating greets guests, a perfect location to people-watch and enjoy morning coffee. Inside is a modern foyer with an adjacent bonus living space on the first level that offers a comfortable sofa (with a queen sleeper sofa for two more), additional seating, and a new large flatscreen digital TV- the perfect place to kick back and relax after a fun-filled day at the beach. The first level features the first bedroom down, an oversized king bedroom with its own just-renovated private bathroom featuring a single marble vanity and a glass-enclosed walk-in shower. There is ample storage and a mounted large-screen TV for this primary bedroom. The second bedroom down is a custom built-in bunk room with a queen bed down, two twin bunks up, a mounted flat-screen TV, and its own ensuite bathroom as well. This recently renovated private bathroom features a single marble vanity and a glass-enclosed tub and shower combination.

Make your way to the second level to be met with an open floor plan and high ceilings. This level of the home holds a fully equipped, just renovated incredible coastal chefs’ kitchen that serves as the entertaining hub and dining area for seven. The adjacent primary living area has a large wrap-around sectional sofa providing plenty of comfortable seating for all and a new large digital-mounted flatscreen TV. Want to grill out or have a night in? Step onto an open balcony that has a gas grill, perfectly located off the living area.

The second level additionally offers a convenient half bath, as well as the third bedroom a luxurious, king bedroom with a bonus Murphy full bed for any additional guests, as well a flatscreen TV. The king bedroom on this level offers its own just-renovated ensuite custom primary bathroom with dual marble vanities and a large glass-enclosed walk-in shower. It was located on a quiet street at the back of Seaside. It was close to the adult pool which we love! I would highly recommend this Beauty!!

Very nice house and area

House was very nice. Had a very very bad leak. Maintenance was right on it. We were moved to another very nice property. Unfortunately, because of the leak and the move we lost 2 days of our vacation plans. We are to be reimbursed one day. Not anyone's fault just disappointed we lost our vacation time.

Nice front porch. One block from playground and family pool. Four blocks from seaside downtown for coffee and muffins daily. Rental agency very communicative and helpful. Great week all around!

Spring Break review

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You should know before booking that you can literally get TWICE the home in this area for half the price. To be fair, our rental was sold at the last minute and this was likely the only house available on short notice, but there's little value to report with our stay. The location is 2/5Minimal room to be outside and no cushions provided. Parking is difficult but fortunately you can bike in and out. Take some time and do plenty of research exploring some other options before booking.

Left Something to be Desired

At first glance this property seemed to be a nice home but quickly it fell short. The location was good and is on a quiet street. This property has good bones and potential but was rather dingy and needing work. We found large roaches daily on both levels of the house including bathrooms and kitchen. Many of the upholstery surfaces had large stains. Finally, 2 of the 3 bathrooms had grout that was black and the ceiling in one bathroom had severe water damage and was cracked and the sink in the other did not work. We have stayed in Seaside many times and have never had concerns like these before. The attention to detail is very lacking.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the house is great. Very nice furniture. Appreciate the opportunity to stay there.However, we did have several problems while staying there. Key lock did not work well until it was replace a few days after we were there; we had to keep the other doors unlocked while we were out of the house. The locksmith was very professional and efficient once he was asked to fix the lock. The loss of hot water for about 7 hours did cause us some problems, particularly since we had a child. The plumber was very professional and repaired the unit quickly after he was able to get the part. Property management did respond quickly to our concerns.

Disappointment in the Sand

Appears the owners are not putting any profit back into the upkeep of the house. Where do I begin….. The built-in microwave did not work so they had a cheap countertop one instead; the fridge had a drawer and several shelves missing; adequate but mediocre cookware; they literally had only four spoons in the utensils; a pillow case was soiled/ used upon check-in and it took three days to replace; one pillow has two pillow cases because housekeeping was too lazy to find a larger size and it took three days to get a new one; the grill was filthy and propane entirely empty and it took four days to fix the issue; the majority of blinds did not work and/ or had the draw strings broken; numerous large stains on the couch/ chairs/ benches; the roof leaked in several places when it rained; no outdoor hose to wash off beach things; various marks on the walls throughout the house; limited poor shelves in each of the bedrooms closets; the management company was quick to respond but very slow to get anything repaired; burned out lights in the kitchen, living room, and frig upon check-in; the home did not have beach chairs/ umbrellas/ toys/ etc that many houses offer. It is conveniently located to beach, main square, pool, tennis courts and workout center. For the money, there are better much better alternatives. For the fees Homeowner’s Collection is charging, they did a poor job of responding to issues and maintaining the property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always a great time in Seaside. Loved Splendor in the Sand. Here is my feedback.Both garbage cans outside should have a lid. (the cans are a bit old and tired, and kind of gross)workers in the neighborhood throw their garbage in there and it's a mess after the rain. Sure do wish the blinds in both 2nd floor bathrooms had the option to come down from the top. that goes for the first floor bedrooms too. The rooms are very dark and you can't really open the blinds cause too much exposure. A little natural light is always welcome. A laundry basket would be helpful. There were two tiny little dish towels - they were inadequate and we could have used standard dish towels. Ditto Pot Holders. Also kitchen hand soap at the sink would be very nice. I wash my hands frequently while working in the kitchen. The disposal button is very difficult to operate. That made it a bit scary to be honest. The bedroom curtains block the ability to get in to open the windows. that was awkward and a big hassle. Would really appreciate all of the windows that do open are in working order. There were a couple that had issues. and I much prefer the fresh breeze to the AC. I did leave the 2nd floor balcony doors open, as suggested, and a bird actually flew in. Took awhile to get the critter out. I really appreciated all of the kitchen dishes, cooking stuff, appliances. Great quality. There were no spices, which I get, but It would be very nice to have salt and pepper on hand, at least. I had already made a large grocery run (I rent for two weeks) when I discovered there were no spices at all. These are meant to be helpful suggestions. I really liked the house - would rent again next year. Thank you!!PS Kary was great and always responsive to my questions and concerns. Much appreciated!

Restful Haven on Venice Circle for our Family of 4~ 2022

The front porch is absolutely gorgeous with the rocking chairs to have our morning coffee. The blinds need some TLC. That is why there is a 4/5 stars. Definitely get your exercise in this house, since the living space and kitchen are upstairs and 2 bedrooms are downstairs. There is a beautiful master bedroom upstairs with a washer and dryer. The cottage was clean. The Beds were comfortable. We will be back. =)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such a lovely time in this beautiful home. It was so quiet in this part of the town - yet so easy to get anywhere we needed. We loved every minute!
