We had an amazing time in Santorini, staying at Arcadia Andronis. The hotel is brand new, very clean, great staff services and certainly the most unforgettable sunset experience on the Island! You should know that the hotel is not on the Caldera, so you wonât be seeing the cliff and the white & blue houses. Once you know that, Arcadia Andronis is the place to be to enjoy the sunset. Quieter and less crowded than the hotels on the Caldera, you can easily go there by a 5 minutes walk. The breakfast was very good and the staffs are so nice, always smiling and answering your requests.
The negative point of this hotel is the view from the rooms. When we arrived, we were first set up in the section of the hotel beginning with room numbers 200 and follow. No privacy at all on the balcony, because of the boardwalk just in front. People are walking very close and can easily see you in the pool. Also, the view was not great because there are a lot of construction sites in front of this part of the hotel. We asked immediately to be placed in another section of the hotel, starting with room numbers 100 and more.
Totally different experience! Quieter, more privacy and better view! However, you can still hear the trucks on construction sites and the pictures on the website are not representative of the rooms. Go see the pictures below. Still very clean and very comfy, but different! I recommend this hotel for the great services and the amazing sunset view!!
