The hotel is in a very accessible area with very helpful staff. The breakfast quality was good even though the variety was not quite as widespread as some other hotels— though it was definitely sufficient. Mainly western style breakfast. The bathroom size was decent for a city hotel in Japan. I didn’t feel like I was touching the toilet or sink at every turn as I sometimes feel in the tiny Tokyo hotel bathrooms. Overall, very satisfied with the hotel given the price.

Wonderful staff. Kind and helpful and offer umbrellas without asking. Quiet hotel. Easy walk to the main station for arrivals and departures. Would definitely stay again. Rooms are smallish but still quite comfortable for three.

Terrible check-in process. Stay away.

Check-in process was the worse ever I had stayed in any hotel in my entire life. Considering that the Japanese has been known for their service, my experience was far from it. The hotel counter staff insisted that I had to contact the platform that I made the reservation to change my reservation to match exactly the same way as how it is reflected in my passport. This is despite me showing other forms of identification that my name is correct and that I had paid for the room. I managed to get hold of Hotels.com on a Sunday afternoon and they had to intervene. I wasted time at the counter and was super embarrassed by the staff. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will never stay there again.

Great property. Clean, well maintained, great service, conveniently located. The only issue I experienced is the wait for an elevator. It can be 10 to 15 minutes long, depending on the time of day. I have no issues with taking the stairs, however, when I asked the staff for it, they pointed to the elevator as the only wait out, which to me seems strange.
