We could not have asked for a better place to stay! The house is 10 minutes from Siesta Key Beach, and the owner even provides beach chairs, an umbrella and towels. Such a blessing when you are flying and trying to pack light! While we don’t cook much on vacation, the house was well stocked with anything you could possibly need. And then of course there is the pool which was just amazing to have right out the back door. We are so thankful we could take our mini Doxie with us as well. The house is clean and just as described. Thank you for allowing us to stay here, we will definitely be back!!

Amazing

We didn’t check in till around 2am and the house was super easy to find. Exactly like it was described. We enjoyed the pool and loved having the availability to use it whenever we wanted to. The siesta key beach was very close and just about any kind of restaurant you could want all within a few min. Beds super comfortable, plenty of towels and washcloths. Would definitely stay there again

Great vacation spot!

House is clean I liked the established neighborhood and reminded me of a street I once lived on and it’s relatively close to everything - good stay, quiet, & nice to look out on the lake. I had spent most of my life in the surrounding area so I can’t speak to a first time visitors perspective but it was exactly what I was looking for to revisit for the holidays.

Green Pool, maggots outside, unhelpful communication from host

The pool was very very green and the water level was so low the skimmers were gurgling because the water couldn’t reach them. At 8am the morning after we checked in, someone walked into the pool area unannounced while I was out there in my pajamas, which was uncomfortable and surprising. They filled the pool up and left, and I assume they treated it chemically. But the pool remained green throughout our 5-night stay. I messaged the host about it who said there shouldn’t be a concern and that the pool gets tended to weekly. I then replied back suggesting that they should come out and take a look. It took multiple days to respond and the response I got was not helpful, nor was the pool ever fixed. A few other things, the trash outside had maggots, which means no one had tended to the property prior to our arrival, and I truly believe the pool had not been tended to in some time. The bathroom was full of tiny flies (30+ small flies in and around the shower). The house overall had a cat pee scent but I think it was just build into the walls/floor. The bedding smelled fresh and they washer and dryer were of good quality, and everything seemed clean. And the beach toys and chairs were nice. But the flies, green pool, and maggots were quite concerning, as well as the unhelpful canned and late responses from the host. I would just expect a bit more proactive communication, including letting us know how to lock the door when we left, and maybe sending someone out to help the pool

Perfect place for a family

We had the best time here, not only was this area great for a family but this house was perfect. Great space, all the amenities you need, and the pool was the golden ticket. For the days we just stayed back to relax, the kids were able to swim and plan in the back porch area, bonus that it is completely screened in so no bugs bothered us. We would definitely come back and stay here again!

Fantastic stay - only a few recommendations

Location was great. We visited 5 beaches with unique experiences within 15 min drive. Ample space for the family. The pool was a nice addition. My only recommendations would be: New(er) pots and pans, more cups/glasses, silverware, and plates. I would also recommend new lounging chairs by the pool - the ones were rusty and I was nervous one was going to break! Also - there was not enough kitchen (grill too) utensils. Maybe more hangers do shelving for clothes. We had 4 teenagers - so TV’s in the two spare bedrooms could have provided much downtime for the kiddos. We appreciated the beach umbrella, the towels and beach towels, the clothes lines, the washer/dryer, cleanliness, location, comfortable master bed, spacious showers, pillow and blankets and let’s just say the fans for each bead room!!!! Overall - we have traveled many places for spring break and I would FOR SURE rent this house again.
