Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Old Florida vibe, but nice room, clean, great location. Not luxurious, but very nice for the price. Felt like we had our own private beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas provided was a nice touch. Room was clean, good layout, but could use a little update. First time in this area, it was absolutely beautiful! We’ll be back!

Beautiful Location for Laidback Vacation

We loved the view from our unit. There were always beach chairs available and lots of space on the beach. The marine life is wonderful to experience! It's great for families and no crossing streets to go to the pool or beach. Staff and guests were friendly. A few tweaks to the room, (updated, unsoiled sofa, drain plug that works for tub, dish drainer, kitchen sink stopper and baking pan), would improve the unit stay. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would like to return in the future with our extended family.

Good location. Dishwasher in need of repair. Large mirror leaning against back wall unsecured and could have posed a danger to children. Room looked nicer in photos tan in person.

Love Silver Sands

Great access to a very quiet part of the beach. It is mainly residential north of the resort so there are very few people. Great for families with the pool, shuffleboard and mini golf. The unit is a bit older but has everything you need for vacation.

We enjoyed our stay. Our friends have been going there the last few years. This was our first and we will definitely return. Love the ease to going to the beach, having the chairs there and easy access to the umbrellas. Also nice pool. Very clean.

Spring break

Great place to stay, however pull out couch needs attention. But we all stayed in king size bed which kids loved. But location and facilities were awesome. Thanks for letting us stay!!
