This reservation was made the day of occupancy as we were already in Sarasota. If I wasn't a Hyatt member this could have been difficult to find, check in as no contact number was listed, nobody called us and we needed to check out of our Hotel. I read the owners requirements to rent, but the Managing company had different requirements not posted on the advertisement. This is a stunning piece of property and the suite was more than I could have asked for, but the property management has much to improve. The staff was courteous but nobody told us the Master shower did not work, thus the next morning when it was needed, the handle was so loose it would fall off. No water to the shower. That began my concern as they took an extremely large credit hold incase 'we' did any damage to the apartment home.
I have rented exquisite units and have never had to put that kind of hold on my CC. Needless to say I began to comb through the suite as there was no 'checklist' to measure our stay by. I called the office on the dent on the Sub Zero refrigerator and they were surprised by it. We were not allowed to check in because of all the 'detail & cleaning' that had to happen before hand.
Here's the skinny:
- NO return calls for 3 days regarding shower head being repaired. A Call back mssg on day 3 (last day) they left stating a handyman would be fixing it. No one showed up.
- We were informed that all towels, silverware, dishes, etc would be counted and unit combed through for any damage then if so, the credit hold would be charged. The very large amount not listed in the advertisement.
- Management fees and cleaning fees were listed & charged. Only, if there is no water to the main shower, then how was that cleaned?
-Upon check out for an early flight the Receptionist apologized and told me the shower part had been on order and thats why it wasn't working. So why didn't someone tell us that before we rented or took occupancy and compensate us accordingly? I made sure to follow all the rules, including trash removal & left the space in fabulous condition.
-Asked for consideration on fees due to the situation and was told it was referred to the property manager who never called us nor followed up on anything.
This is unprofessional, inconsiderate, felt deceptive. This property deserves the best clients and likewise we deserve the quality service it represents. Hyatt has a 5 star reputation.

This condo is an amazing Beachfront property with tons of amenities! One of our favorites was complimentary kayaks and paddleboards and non-crowded Beach chair area. In my opinion, this is the best stretch of Siesta! The condo had plenty of supplies(towels, blankets, cookware,etc...), comfortable furniture and one of the bedrooms was set up with a desk to work at which was important for our group who needed to work remotely part of our stay. The biggest drawback to this property was that we were only allowed 2 key cards. Since it is privately owned (not resort owned) they front desk could not provide additional keys. So amongst the 4 of us we had to do some pretty heavy coordination and often had to ask resortl staff to open doors/gates for us. The key card was required to swipe in/out of the pool and beach along with in some of the elevators. Really cumbersome - but I appreciate the security it provided for the property. I also really appreciated having covered parking.
3 bedroom unit that we stayed at was amazing. Location is near some good local restaurants and ice cream creamery.(Ice Cream was one of the best places I ever went to) Morning walks on the beach can take you to Siesta Key Beach. The first two days, ocean was calm so we enjoyed every minute of it. Free chairs and umbrella at the beach offered by the property which was nice. Pool and Jacuzzi was clean and the landscape around it looks amazing.

Construction noise not disclosed. Only two access keys given for a party of six without any clear rational as to why more were not available. This made coordinating difficult given the need for key access to hotel, rooms and the beach. Unresponsive management upon requests for more keys. Keys were disabled the day before departure leaving guests stranded on the beach. Air conditioner not effective in keeping the unit comfortable in hot climate.
Staying at The Residences #310 was like being at home! The condo was beautifully decorated. Very clean and I can’t think of anything it didn’t have that we needed. The entire property was very well maintained and the staff helpful and friendly. Beachside Management was easy to work with, communication was great and they were very professional.
Excellent location. A little confusing having to go to a different address to register and then register again on site. Condo was exceptionally clean with everything one would want for a good vacation.

When we checked in we were almost turned away because the hotel did not have our reservation, even though we had a confirmation and were fully paid. They finally figured out that it was through another rental agent (Beachside Management) who ONLY rents this one unit in the building. Beachside Management had never reached out to me to say that I had to go to their office to get keys to the unit, not a great start to the stay. We were excited about the paddle boards and kayaks that would be included in the resort fee we paid. Once we got out to the beach we realized that there was a red tide and there were dead fish everywhere and a horrible smell. It would have been nice if the hotel or the rental agency would have mentioned this when we inquired about using the kayaks and paddle boards. The Hyatt was very nice but you could tell the staff was upset that this other company was renting this unit and it made it uncomfortable for us. Overall the hotel is wonderful and the rooms are very well appointed. We had a few broken and missing items in our room that we made the rental agency aware of. They also never gave us instructions for check out so we had to call and get instructions, they let us have an extended check out. Then we received a call asking us why our stuff was still in our room... TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION - stay away from Beachside Management, they do not know what they are doing.
