Missing a bit

Our room door didn’t lock. They made us aware but you would think they would at least not charge us for the dog or something. The refrigerator was broken as well. The staff were nice and apologetic but sometimes that’s not enough. You pay a certain price for the basics and the basics aren’t there. The place looked Very tired.

we stayed at the Sleep Inn on June 2 and liked it so well that we booked it on our return trip on July8 but we really disappointed to be assigned a room with an access door to the room next door. It was really annoying in the evening with noise and I was VERY UNHAPPY being awakened at 5:19 am by the people in 109 banging and slamming doors etc. I will NOT stay there again in a room with an access door unless I request it. Also the TV setup was ridiculous with two remotes and no instructions on how to use them!

It's a nice quiet area, good parking, well-kept. Close to dining out places, the water. The breakfast dining area seems small for so many overnight guests, but folks were considerate of other guests, leaving as soon as they'd eaten - leaving space for others to sit down.

Loved the woman at the front desk when we checked in. Very funny and personable. We asked for a pet-friendly room on the ground floor which we received. There is a beautiful park just down the street that faces the river. Breakfast was good, although the dining area is very small. No problem taking a tray back to our room. We will definitely stay here again.

Fraud Fraud stay away.

Made mistake in reserving at wrong motel and called to cancel and they asured us it was no problem. So we rebooked in canada soo st marie as we planned. 2 days later im informed there is no refund as was promised when we canceled. Reporting to credit card as fraud.
