Eight acres of woodland surround this Sautee Nacoochee home for six, with a hot tub and screened in deck that lets you enjoy the natural beauty around you and easy access to dining and shopping in the Bavarian village of Helen.

Take a seat in the living room and relax with the people that matter most. Get cozy by the fireplace and share an entertaining conversation with your family or friends.

Enjoy al fresco dining by the fire pit, dining by the hot tub in the screened-in deck, or indoor meals at a table for six. Wherever you eat, the open kitchen makes it easy to whip up delicious meals, with stainless steel appliances and a dishwasher for easy cleanup!

Six guests at once can use this cabin's three bedrooms and one-and-a-half baths. The master suite offers a luxurious king-size bed, with queens in each of the remaining rooms. Between the full bath's shower and the home's private washer/dryer, everyone's sure to stay nice and clean!

Overall great stay! The screened in porch makes for an amazing view and comfortable area. All bedrooms are downstairs. The outdoor fire pit and on site creek were amazing. The home is a little older which is fine cause I am too, but the water pressure/drainage shows its age. The kitchen is smaller but if you know these things before you go it isn't a bother. Nothing we couldn't work through for our Thanksgiving meal. Thanks for a memorable stay!!

Overall nice experience

Everything was clean and comfortable with two minor hiccups. The code we were given to unlock the door did not work. Fortunately, our son found an unlocked door on the side so we were able to get in. However, when I contacted management about the issue, they repeatedly tried to assign us new numbers that also did not work. This went on for an hour until we finally got a working code. Also, the heat was on an automatic setting that lowered the temperature during the night while we were asleep. The next day my husband spent some time resetting the thermostat so we were more comfortable.

New Years Weekend

This was a great stay over-all. The one and only issue with this property is that when you click on the address provided in the access e-mail, the directions take you to the wrong side of the mountain. In order to ensure you make it to the correct address, print out a copy of directions to the house as well as only use the Apple Maps or another like product. The house is great, quiet and has everything needed to stay unplugged for your stay. Alpine Helen is only approximately 15 minutes away and regardless of the time of year you visit, there is plenty to see, do and re-charge your internal batteries with. Anna Ruby Falls, Nora Mill Granary Grist Mill and the Nacoochee Indian Mound are just a few of the gems in the area.

It’s in a great location. Home needs little work but I would definitely give it a 5. Just need better cleaning and fix few little things wrong.. Easy to get around

Wonderful place to get away

We stayed here with our one year old and absolutely loved our time! We got there late in the evening and when our little guy woke up the next morning, he looked out the window and exclaimed, “wow mommy!” We had the best time by the creek, ate on the screened porch and enjoyed the fire pit. The pictures are amazing, but don’t even do it justice. We will definitely be back! The town was great and we even fit in a trip to the GA aquarium.

Wonderful Gem

My family lived staying here. The property is beautiful, from the decor to the outdoors. My favorite space was on the screened in porch. We had family meals there and I lived curling up on the deck to read my book. We also had fun exploring the creek and utilizing the fire pit to make s’mores! My son loved seeing the deer come to visit. We will be back again in the fall to see the leave change and hope to stay here again.

Great Place

Our family got away for a short weekend birthday adventure for two of our kids. The house was clean and cozy. Loved the decor and the porch. The only negative was that we could have used an extra full bathroom but we made due. Late checkout was very helpful.

Charming cabin with lots of characters

If you’re looking for seclusion, this is your place. Farmhouse decor. Not really sure how I felt about the framed art in the bedroom with the king size bed 🤔. There were a few things that were broken around the house, but nothing that would damper our stay. This really is a nice cottage. With the exception of an iron, everything that you could possibly need while on vacation is right here! There’s even a trail that leads to a creek down below - with a couple of chairs. They really have thought of everything. This cottage is situated near Unicoi State Park and Helen. Perfect place to be!

Wonderful time!

Beautiful cabin with everything you need. The fire pit and hot tub were our favorites. The screened porch was amazing for breakfast morning, relaxing or napping. We enjoyed our girl weekend.

Wonderful place to stay!

This cabin was perfect for a “girls weekend”! Our favorite place to be was on the HUGE screened in porch! The decor was so cute and everything was very clean and tidy. Plenty of space for 4 adults (and more we only had 4) Very quiet and “off the beaten path” we all loved it so much! Close to Helen and all of the wineries, which is where we spent the majority of our time. Definitely recommend!

Very clean & well decorated cabin. It was just 2 of us but 4 or 6 would have been comfortable too. Nicely renovated with a huge wrap around mostly screened porch. Enjoyed meals outside bug free. Need better directions to the road entrance upon arrival. Turn at the Big Green Fish Mailbox. We had a nice relaxing long weekend. Will definitely want to return here. Big Daddy’s in Helen was our favorite restaurant. The shrimp & fish tacos were 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Came to this cabin to enjoy the thanksgiving holiday with our adult children and LOVED IT!!

I’ve always wanted to spend thanksgiving and see the autumn foliage with our kids since they were little, I wasn’t sure about how our 24 and 20yr Old were going to enjoy, specially because they are adults, we are in a digital age and WiFi was not an option... well, it was everything I’ve ever dreamed of, they loved the cabin, the National parks, the outdoors, the acomodations and the whole thanksgiving experience away from home. The cabin is very clean, it has everything you need to prepare meals, the fire pit it’s super fun, hot tub (but we didnt use it) rooms are comfortable, cabin has a lot of outdoor space to sit back and relax. The instructions to arrive are a little difficult and hard to see but thankfully our gps was spot on, a good idea to check on the gas grill before trying to use it, we ran out of gas before we had to grilled our steaks 😎other than that I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone, we would even like to come back if we could.

once found, beyond pleased

The cabin itself was clean, charming, quaint, and thoughtfully decorated. We loved the lighting and cozy seating on the wrap around porch. The dining room table on the porch added to the nostalgia. The hot tub was clean, inviting, and easy to use. The outdoor fire pit and seating was enjoyable. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, dishes, silverware. There were an array of DVD's to watch and some games. However, we did arrive after dark and it was difficult to find. It is more like a driveway then a road. I was looking for a street sign, not a black mailbox type sign. I recommend arriving in the day light and not relying on GPS directions. Print out the directions ahead of time, even though those seemed confusing too. We did not get cell, text, or internet service after a certain point. Take notice that the cabin will not look like the picture from the driveway. The picture shown is actually the back yard view, not the driveway view. After wandering a while, we did finally find the creek on the property. However, there were several very large trees that had fallen over and were blocking access. They were climbable, but only for those at a high fitness level. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the sheets smelled of freshness. Overall we were beyond pleased.

I could not ask for a better cabin ,However the hot tube water was soured and smelled bad.I was afraid to get in it..disappointed in that cause I like to relax in a hot tub with my wife
