Summary:
A modern 2017 Airstream International on Wilmington Island, about 10 minutes from Downtown Savannah and 15 minutes from Tybee Beach. Sleeps 4: a queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa that pulls out to a small double.
Full kitchen, fast wifi, a private entrance and two parking spots next to the camper, no garage.
The camper sits in a quiet, wooded spot. A second Airstream and a house share the lot as separate rentals, and you keep to your own camper and parking area. We live nearby and are quick to answer.
The Space:
One level, 28 foot Airstream, from the bedroom at one end to the sofa at the other.
Bedroom: a standard queen bed, two closets, a 32 inch TV and the thermostat. A curtain partition closes it off.
Living area: a sofa with a pullout section for a second sleeping spot, a 32 inch TV, and a dinette that seats four. The dinette also turns into a small bed for one person 5 ft 7 in or shorter.
Hallway: closet, fridge, toilet room and shower.
Kitchen: full-size fridge with freezer, three-burner gas stove, convection and microwave oven combo, Keurig coffee maker with a few K-cups to start, pots, pans, dishes and utensils.
Bathroom: a toilet room and a shower, with a curtain partition for privacy. The bathroom and shower are compact, as in any camper. The toilet works like a boat toilet, and the instructions are posted. The water heater takes about 15 minutes to warm up.
Air conditioning and heating, fast wifi, a TV with a DVD player, a small selection of movies and board games, and a Sony sound system with Bluetooth. Towels, linens, cookware and starter supplies cover a typical 3 to 4 night stay. Outside there is an outdoor table with four chairs. Note: the awning is currently out of service.
