This stunning fully renovated garden/ground level suite in an historic 1854 townhome overlooking charming Chatham Square. This prime location is just one block from Forsyth Park and the neighborhood contains some of the city’s best row houses. It’s a short walk from a variety of museums and historic sites, as well as restaurants, grocery stores, and shops.
Living room is open & spacious with comfy seating & a dining table. The newly renovated kitchen features stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. It is fully equipped and ready to whip up a meal or store great take out.
The bedroom has queen bed and en suite bathroom with large, walk-in shower. Off the bedroom is the private patio with seating for you & the shared courtyard is for all guests in the building.
Gather for meals in the dining room and admire the Razzia Louis Vuitton posters and the original brick floors and walls. This striking 1854 townhome mixes timeless furnishings with rich patterns and accents for a robust atmosphere with hints of eclecticism.
This townhouse is part of Savannah's historic GORDON ROW. Gordon Row was built in two phases between 1852 and 1854. In the first phase, the 3 or 4 houses on each end of the block were built and in the second phase the middle portion was built. There are a total of 15 houses in the row.
The houses were built in the Federalist (US) or Regency Style (UK). Each house is four stories high and contains about 3,300 square feet. The Federalist Style emphasizes square, classical features, plain decorations and mirror image rooms.

Location was PERFECT to walk everywhere. Bed was comfortable but wish there was an extra sleeping pillow. Coffee maker was slow that could use an upgrade for the quality of everything else. I did not cook so I can’t say if the cookware and stove were up to par. There were earplugs available maybe due to people walking around on second floor but I did not require them. I would have preferred white towels as I assume they get bleached and are clean. None of my complaints would keep me from staying again.

The unit is amazing! Take heed of parking advice, either you are slave to the meter app or get the visitor pass from the City. I recommend getting passes.Know that property management controls the thermostat and there isn't unlimited hot water. Not showstoppers, but do be aware. Also, occupancy is limited to 2 but there is an uncomfortable hideabed for a couch.

We really enjoyed our stay. The space was exactly as described, very clean, and thoughtfully appointed with high-quality items throughout. The unit was well stocked with essentials such as soap, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a fully stocked coffee station. The many small, thoughtful touches were genuinely appreciated.Street parking was readily available directly in front of the unit for about 8–9 per day. Parking does require feeding the app every two hours between 8am and 5pm, but overall it was much more convenient than expected.The location is excellent. It is about a 20-minute walk to the river and just a few blocks from the free public bus, making it easy to get around.Two minor notes for future guests. The unit had only three hangers available, and while an ice maker was listed, it was actually a manual ice tray rather than an automatic ice maker. These were small items and did not significantly impact our stay, but they were different than expected.Overall, this is a beautiful, clean, and centrally located unit, which were major positives. We would happily stay here again.

Location was perfect for us. We were running the Savannah Southern half marathon that started in Forsyth Park and this home was two blocks away. Decor was gorgeous. Outside area was calm and peaceful. Bed was super comfortable and everything was SO clean. Very safe and communication with hosts was perfect! Would definitely stay here again and recommend. The ONLY small thing we kept saying was that we wish we could have adjusted the air to be cooler inside. It was a very warm weekend so sleeping was slightly warm, but it did not change the way we felt about this place. 10/10

Everything was as described and as reflected in the pictures. The property manager was a big help the couple of times i called her ... very responsive. The place was located in the heart of the historic district, just down the street from the Mercer/Williams house. We did not have a car and walked everywhere. We had an amazing time in an amazing place.

This property was in a nice quiet area. Chatham Square is literally out the front of the building. Lovely area to sit and take in the outdoors. Everything was within a 3-18 min, enjoyable, walk. The DOT is just around the corner. This is a first floor unit so no stairs to climb. It is an old building so don't expect perfect walls or floors but very clean. The shared patio is in the back off the bedroom. We never saw anyone using it. We didn't cook but it had all the basics. We did not rent a car and did not need one. I would not recommend renting one. Parking cost and hard to find in Savannah. I gave this a five star because it was a cute and clean little place and fit our need. We traveled in October. Pros: clean, good water and water pressure, large walk in shower, bed comfortable, no stairs, kitchen supplied, DOT close, right on Chatham Square, coffee shops close by, quiet area, easy to sightsee from this location, felt very safe. Host was good to communicate. Cons: need to be careful of height difference in floor from one room to the next, not great for kids, you can hear the people above you walking around or talking but not a major problem ( ear plugs were provided for sleeping). Don't expect to use the fireplace. Smelled a little musty when we first walked in but didnt notice it after the first day.
