Jones E. Carriage House has it all; great location, dog friendly, luxury appointments, and off street parking with private entrance. The private entrance is from the lane behind our property. It's an easy walk to everywhere from here. Rents fast, so don't hesitate or your date will be gone. Experience the wonder of Savannah as it was meant to be explored on foot. This spacious, one room living area has everything you and your dog need to enjoy downtown Savannah. For those without Dogs we are people friendly as well. Jones E. carriage house has just been renovated and is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated.

SPECIAL NOTE: The Carriage House Is Only allowed by code to sleep TWO ADULTS plus children as of 2018. (two in a queen bed and the third using a our deluxe EZ bed ) The bed is a deluxe electrically powered inflatable bed with a nice padded cover. The bed is at normal height and on legs when fully inflated. You will need to deflate the bed during the day to move freely in the room.

Experience a fully stocked kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless appliances. The bed is queen size and there is an electric fireplace for a romantic ambiance with or without running the heater. Watch a flatscreen HDTV, read, or play games. Cook in, or take a short walk to one of the wonderful restaurants within a ten minute leisurely walk. You name it, this kitchen has it. Keurig coffee pot, toaster, cookware, bakeware and basic supplies such as oils and spices. High quality linens are included along with a hair dryer, shampoo, soaps, lotions, iron and ironing board.

The courtyard is shared with us and our dog (Freddie). Former guests will remember our amazing Dog Gus who was such a delight and a great greeter of all guests human and canine. Gus has gone to doggie heaven as of April 2025 and our new Pup Freddie has taken over his role. We live in the main house. The courtyard is complete with fountain and perfect for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. You might catch us using our Big Green Egg for our outdoor cooking and would be happy to share our hot coals with you. As native Californians we use wine for cooking, drinking and making new friends. You will have private access to the carriage house from the lane. There is plenty of free parking on the street. Just be mindful of street sweeping hours.

Jones E. Carriage House is walking distance to everything in historic downtown Savannah. Have coffee in the courtyard then walk 2 blocks to the famous Clary's Cafe on E. Jones St. Stroll a few more beautiful blocks for shopping or dining at the landmark restaurant of Mrs. Wilkes' Dining Room. Enjoy all the festivities Forsyth Park has to offer just a few blocks away. From the carriage house walk up Habersham St. through several lovely squares to River Street. Just as easily walk to City Market or to any of the many wonderful restaurants along the way. And of course the local dog park is just 1 block away! If you do run out of energy at the end of a long day, you simply need to hail one of the numerous Pedi-Cabs to bring you back home.

Jones E. Carriage House is perfect for anyone who is looking for a getaway and doesn't want to leave their dog at home. Stay for a long weekend or an entire week. You will love it. For a time my Husband and I worked as secret shoppers for the Ritz Carlton Hotel chain. Our job was to use all of the hotel services as undercover guests and report back to the management to help them maintain their 5 star rating. Everything but communication was great.ProbleyEverything was great.Only problem was communication.Our fault in not giving the correct number to get back to us.It all worked out! Lovely First Visit to Savannah

My wife and I spent three nights at the Jones Street Carriage House as part of an 12 night road trip through the SE US. Our stay at the carriage house was a comfy and welcoming respite from bland hotels. The property was tastefully decorated and included a very comfortable bed, a compact but complete kitchen, a TV with complete and easy to follow instructions. We loved having a garage for parking our car. The location is walking distance to everything. June is an experienced host and provided almost anything a guest might need to make their stay in Savannah enjoyable. We especially enjoyed the welcome basket of snacks, the bottled water & soft drinks in the fridge, her curated list of restaurants, things to do, and historical tours. Little details like sunscreen bug spray and umbrellas we nice. And last, but not least we loved relaxing in their beautiful garden. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We will stay again when we return to Savannah.

Perfect Getaway

What a perfect place to celebrate our 45th anniversary! The carriage house is gorgeous, beautifully situated on E Jones Street in the heart of the historic district. We parked our car in the garage provided and walked everywhere in beautiful Savannah! June and Greg are wonderful hosts and we loved meeting their precious new pup Freddie! Will definitely be back!!

Great Coach House

Anniversary Trip

We absolutely loved everything about this charming carriage house. The little touches of a sign wishing us happy anniversary, the snacks that saved us the night we missed dinner, and the location! Great place to stay in the middle of the historic district. One of the cleanest VRBO’s we have ever stayed at. Everything one could possibly need has been provided, along with some extra treats. Weekend getaway

Out of the hussle and bustle but so close to everything. We didn’t really pay attention to location but found a gem when we arrived. We left our car in the garage the whole weekend. About a 20min walk to middle of the river walk.A 40 min walk to Midtown. We enjoy walking in Savannah more than driving because the beauty is on every street. Food, entertainment, and sites are minutes away. Everything that was stated was true and picture perfect of the listing. Wish we had a longer stay , maybe next time. June, Greg and Gus went above and beyond.

Everything about the carriage house was top notch! June thought of every little detail. The house is in a great location; we were able to walk to everything. The carriage house was just a perfect place for our Valentine's trip. It is a charming, spotless, comfortable, quiet, and welcoming place. You can easily walk anywhere in Savannah's historic district. June is an exceptional host who thinks of all possible details, from extra towels, blankets, and good snacks to a detailed map with suggestions on where to go, what to see, or where is the best place to eat if you have not done all your research before. She even let us park in her garage! We loved this place and would stay again. Thank you, June!

Great location on a quaint street. Walking distance to most everything. June is a great host who is extremely accommodating. The carriage house was very comfortable with great furnishings. This was our 2nd stay there and probably not our last!

Birthday getaway to Savannah
