Once found, it was a nice cabin, It was hard to determine the location arriving late. It was assumed that it was waterfront. The cabin was clean and comfortable.

Grandkids trip

The accommodations were really nice. There was a couple of things that I would improve. The kitchen sink was dirty and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I had to hunt down a hand towel for the master bathroom. That’s really all that I would suggest as needing attention. The grandkids really loved the loft bedrooms! It was very pleasant stay!

We loved the location of the house! The owner was quick to respond when we had last minute questions which was very nice. The washer and dryer was an extra plus. One thing to keep in mind is there is limited storage. We had a great stay!!

Sublime Woodland Retreat

We stayed for four nights with three of our adult children. This place just seems to hit the "unwind" button on one's body and mind. This home has the most beautiful view of the lake, and the woods are so peaceful. It's also great to be able to just walk down to the lake. Mary is a very gracious hostess. Wish we had our own watercraft to bring, because there are no nearby rentals.

Wonderful week of rest!

This home was extremely clean, well appointed, and was everything we needed for a restful and rejuvenating time away. The owner was extremely quick to respond to messages and made the check in/check out process easy. Would definitely recommend this home and this host!

Quick weekend getaway!

Overall cute place but didn’t realize it wasn’t water front! Heat was an issue and had to go buy extra fans to cool the place down. Also we didn’t have hot water in the master sink but otherwise was perfect for weekend get away!

Meh

Pros - the house is in a very small and quiet neighborhood mixed with full time residents and a number of short term rentals - some of which are newly renovated. There are great views of the lake through the large windows. The dock is convenient, and the lake is great. The photos are mostly accurate depictions of what we encountered. The pizza place near the house was very tasty. Cons - like several others have said - the house is in desperate need of attention and renovations. There were cobwebs inside the house especially around the windows and in the kitchen. These cobwebs have been there for months - not a few days. And like other reviews - the deck and outside furniture didn’t appear to have been cleaned in several months. The sofa and beds aren’t very comfortable and there is only one TV in the house. The AC did not cool very well during the day but worked well enough at night for us to sleep. The house is properly advertised as lake view (not front), but the pictures lead us to believe that it was very close to the lake. It’s a hike - over 200 yards from the front door to the dock. The worst part is the house has an overwhelming mildew odor that permeated into everything. We assumed that the house had been unused for a while and that the smell would go away after running the AC for a few hours or a day - we were sadly mistaken.

Beautiful view! The windows made getting rained on worth it getting to see the storm through those big windows. Short walk down to the lake and docks to fish off of. Mary was super responsive with any questions I had!

Perfect Retreat

Sweet cabin that was perfect for our stay. It is a bit dated and a/c upstairs could not keep up with the heat. It is also not on the water, you must walk down to the slip, which is not easy if you are carrying a cooler. Mary was wonderful and everything else was just as advertised. Great overall location and Mary was very accommodating.

Quite Oasis

This neighborhood was cozy and quite. We loved the cabin and will stay there again. The boat slip was a great plus in that we didn’t have to load and unload our boat. Great start to an amazing summer.

Clean and Quiet Get-away

Wonder property! It has large windows that bring in the light from outside perfectly. The home is surrounded by huge trees that make you feel like your in the forest without actually being there. I enjoyednsitting on the back deck in the mornings listening to the birds sing and the breeze rustling through the trees. The home has everything you need and would want. I saw several reviews that were pretty recent that said there was no microwave but there is now which is super convenient for those who do not feel Ike actually cooking. I have nothing negative to say and Mary was super responsive.
