Beautiful Hillside Vista with Dramatic Ocean Views

Unit 31 Lot 29: TOT ID# 1595 Welcome to "Seven Blue Mile" house. It's seven miles from the house to the farthest visible sea-cliff on the horizon! The house sits high atop a hill above the Sea Ranch Lodge, and offers incredible views of the cliffs, bluffs, waves, and trees at the south end of The Sea Ranch, past Stewart's Point, and beyond.

The house has 3 stories, 3 bedrooms 3 baths and sleeps 6. The living room has a 52" flat screen HD TV mounted above a gas fireplace. The entertainment center has HD TV / DVD with built in surround sound. The hot tub is private and secluded but has gates that can be opened for an ocean view.

The living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and bath are on the ground floor or mid-level. The bath has a shower which is only steps away from the hot tub. The large open kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless-steel appliances; a French 3 door refrigerator with built-in cold-water dispenser, double wall convection ovens, dishwasher, microwave and 5 burner gas stove. There is a countertop TV to watch while you cook.

The private master suite with king size bed and master bath are located upstairs. It has a wall mounted LCD flat screen HDTV with DVD. The lower level has a guest room with queen bed, and kid's room with a twin over double bunk bed. Both rooms have their own flat screen LCD TVs with satellite. There is a shared full bath downstairs. All showers are of the walk in type, with no glass to wipe or clean.

Please note: there is no BBQ grill at this house.
Sheets and towels are not included with this rental, bring your own or contact office to inquire about "linen service".

Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.
Maximum number of vehicles at house shall be 3 (three), with a 2-car garage available. No RV's.

The house was great, absolutely spotless, great kitchen with wonderful space and absolutely incredible ocean views. It was very private and peaceful. The property management company was very responsive when we had questions. My only feedback is the vacation rental experience was a bit outdated. There was a requirement to pay for linens, lack of amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, napkins, paper towels, we had to drive 10 minutes to pick up and drop off the keys with the property management company and the sound system for the TV was outdated and impossible to figure out/not aligned with the instructions. Nothing that got in the way of enjoying our stay but just some feedback.

Great stay

The house was perfect for our stay. Loved the view and the hot tub. Not walkable to beach because of the hill, but a super quick drive. There were walking trails near the house. It was also nice to be close to the lodge and be able to grab coffee in the morning from the cafe.

Perfect for families!

We had a great time. Being able to swim at the lodge in addition to being so close to amazing hiking and beaches made for a dreamy vacation. Great kitchen. The bedrooms are on different levels fyi and the lounge furniture definitely needs an upgrade but truly this place was so special. Hope to stay again!

It’s a beautiful home with a gorgeous view. The home is beautiful and comfortable for our family of 6. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and various kitchen utensils. We especially appreciated the clean and relaxing spa onsite to wrap up each day. The only drawback is that the house is not walkable to oceanfront hiking trails. FYI - The rental office to pick up the key is 8 miles north of the house.

Great Views

Great views and location, house was nice and modern. The property managers were very nice and responsive. A few things to keep in mind: 1) The house has stainless steel pans which can stick more if cooking eggs, etc so you may want to bring your own frying pan. 2) Towels and bed linens are not included, but the property managers can include bed linens/towels if requested for an extra fee. 3) Bring your own shampoo/conditioner 4) Keys have to be picked up/dropped off in Gualala (~10-15 mins north) so make sure to budget time for that.

Amazing ocean views, close to Sea Ranch Lodge, beautiful property

This property has some of the best ocean views at Sea Ranch, in contrast with some of the homes further down along the meadows. Plenty of hiking trails abound, both along the ocean and in the redwoods. A huge plus is the proximity and even walking distance to the Sea Ranch Lodge, which we went everyday. Be sure to take advantage of all of TSRA’s amenities including the Del Mar Pool. This property is great — beautiful natural light, a lot of space, hot tub, etc — but has some shortcomings, which is why I ultimately have to give it a 4. Amazing views aside, the pillows and beds in the house are extremely uncomfortable. I’m going to need some time with my chiropractor when I return home, because all of our necks are hurting from these pillows. Basic amenities are missing, like shampoo and conditioner, for instance. Considering that the nearest large store is a 10 mile drive further north, it is worth either supplying to the guests or letting guests know clearly what’s included. The television at this house also does not work well at all. I believe it is satellite, and every 15 minutes or so it would crash. We watched the Super Bowl from the house, so you can imagine how frustrating that could be. Finally, what I consider to be the biggest shortcoming is the ant problem; for some reason, there are swarms of ants that are attracted to the bathrooms at odd times. It’s a bit gross and needs to be treated, given the price this place otherwise commands. Self-check in through a code would also be an improvement upgrade I would recommend to make check in and check out smoother. These shortcomings aside, I would definitely come back to stay here again. I appreciate our hosts’ hospitality in opening up their beautiful home to us. We have fallen in love with Sea Ranch, and I think from a competitive perspective, this home certainly rivals others in the area on many metrics — ocean views, access to trails and ocean, proximity to community amenities, privacy and distance from neighbors, and size of house. While this is not an historic Sea Ranch home from the 70s — this home was built in the 2000s — this home fits in beautifully in the community. I highly recommend this place to others.

Spectacular!

This property is exceptional in every way. With a large common area, 3 king bedrooms, a kitchen that's a chef's dream, and a location that's just a few steps from the magnificent bluff trail, this a stellar property with spectacular ocean views. The home also has other unique features, including a pool room constructed around nautical themes as well as a library with a miniature pipe organ. You have to see it to believe it. Remarkable!

Beautiful, Comfortable Home in Sea Ranch

We really enjoyed our stay at Seven Blue Mile. The view is stunning and the home is very comfortable, well laid out. The kitchen is beautiful and easy to work in which was appreciated, since we were there for a change of scenery during Covid. The living room was an incredible spot to do practice yoga which we did every morning looking out at the magnificent view out over the Pacific. We were so glad we chose this house and Sea Ranch for our "change of scenery." The Sea Ranch Bluff Trail is wonderful.

Escape to Seven Blue Mile House

My husband, daughter and I recently spent four days at this property in The Sea Ranch and had an amazing time. From the gorgeous home, to the sweeping views of the cliffs and ocean, to the incredible stargazing, to the exciting wildlife all around us, we truly enjoyed everything Seven Blue Mile House had to offer. Gualala was quaint and friendly. The beaches were gorgeous and we had some amazing Summer weather over Labor Day weekend. Will definitely visit again!
