Located facing the beach at the eastern end of Seaford, Seaphare offers wonderful views of the dramatic cliffs, a wide variety of seabirds, and the pebble beach stretching over 2.5 miles, all just a few metres from your door. The upside-down layout features an open plan kitchen, dining, and sitting room on the first floor, providing panoramic views of the coastline and town through huge windows. The ground floor offers four bedrooms, an en-suite shower and family shower room. A truly unique experience for beach lovers and nature enthusiasts.

Seaford is a relaxed town boasting a pebble beach some 2.5 miles long, providing a serene escape for visitors seeking tranquillity and a peaceful holiday. The cliffs to the east offer fabulous views of the iconic Seven Sisters chalk cliffs and Cuckmere Haven, creating a dramatic backdrop.

From Seaphare it's a short, flat walk to the centre of Seaford where there are large and small supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. There are plenty of watersports activities including paddleboarding that can be enjoyed, all the way from the town to the beautiful meandering river valley at Cuckmere Haven. Equipment hire can be booked at the centres in Seaford and Exceat.

Nearby sights, attractions and day trips include the town of Lewes Charleston Farmhouse and gardens, Drusillas Zoo and Park, Glyndebourne Opera, Firle Place, Pevensey Castle, the Long Man of Wilmington, and Airbourne and international tennis at Eastbourne.

- Dogs are allowed on most of the beach throughout the year, except for the central section (between Salts recreation field and the Martello Tower) from May to September.
- Kitchen facilities: single electric fan oven with grill, 4 plate induction hob, tall fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, De'Longhi espresso machine, kettle, toaster.
- Utility cupboard: washer-dryer (combi washing machine and tumble dryer).
- Iron, ironing board, clothes airer, 2 hairdryers provided.
- The beach is 50m from the house, an easy walk on made footpaths with a slight incline/decline. The clifftops are also about 50m from the house. Please always supervise children when they are outside.
- Free on-street parking is available next to the beach, starting at about 40m from the house. Parking is subject to availability but there are usually spaces nearby. There is further free on-street parking in the nearby streets.
- One infant up to age 2 is welcome in addition to the total capacity of this property. 1 travel cot (please bring bedding) and 1 highchair are available on advance request.

The location and view is as shown and lovely. Otherwise, the property was dirty - obviously had not been cleaned in some time with huge dust balls, dozens of spiders, and crumbs in the cabinet. They only left us one small towel each even though there was a huge locked cabinet with towels. I raised these issues upon arrival but got a non-response. We had to pull out the vacuum and rubber gloves and clean ourselves. The bathroom showers had no place to put soap or shampoo and one had no walls or curtain and the water sprayed all over. No screens so open windows meant bugs flew in. Furniture was shabby at best. It is a corporate ownership and replies were delayed or non-existent. If the price was half of what we paid, I might rate it higher based on location but at the current price point, my advice would be to look elsewhere.

Lovely stay.

We loved our stay at Seaphare Beach House. The location and views are perfect. We spent hours looking out at the sea, the Seven Sisters, the flowers, and seagulls. We would definitely rent this beach house again. Additional disclosure about a few things might help plan our stay at this Beach House. Parking was an issue. If you rent this house during the busy summer months you may not be able to park anywhere close to the house. This is difficult if you arrive on the weekend with luggage. We were there on a lovely warm weekend. All of the parking was full a beachgoers for miles. We did not go anywhere on the Saturday or Sunday because we knew we would not find a parking space on our return. We actually watched the parking fiasco from the house. A couple of minor things included the lack of wardrobes in the bedrooms and the wetroom shower in the master bedroom - everything got soaked - so we ended up only using the shower in the other bathroom. We would have enjoyed more comfortable garden furniture. Only one deck chair. The rest were small, wooden, and uncomfortable. We loved walking to the "Holly Cow" ice cream hut - the best ice cream we have ever had. And in the morning, we walked to the beachfront cafe near the Martello Tower for delicious breakfast buns...We really enjoyed our stay.
