Welcome to Seaside Prom in Seaside! Nestled just a couple of houses back from the Seaside Promenade, the beach welcomes you with open arms at this lovely cottage vacation rental. Park the car and get ready to explore your cute rental right on the Oregon coast. This two-bedroom, two-bath home can comfortably sleep up to six guests! You can even bring your favorite furry pal with you while on your stay.

Step inside, and you'll find yourself in the beautiful living room, tastefully decorated in a modern and stylish fashion. You'll have plenty of seating around the flat screen TV with lots of natural light streaming in through the front windows. Off to the side, you'll find a dining room table with seating for four. Across from the living room area is the kitchen, complete with everything you need to make a quick homemade meal or just to store your food. There is plenty of counter space and natural light in this kitchen, making it easy to make dinner or enjoy a bowl of cereal in the morning before heading out onto the beach or step outside on the deck.
Head down the stairs, and you'll find two bedrooms, each containing a queen-size bed. The sofa upstairs also turns into a queen sleeper sofa, making this area perfect for any children in your party. There are also two bathrooms at Seaside Prom, each containing a walk-in shower. You'll also find that Seaside Prom has a washer and dryer included for guest use, so feel free to pack light while on your trip to the Oregon coast. Beach access is just a short walk away, and you will also have easy access to the Seaside boardwalk, where you can check out the Promenade with its many shops, restaurants, candy stores, and more! There is also a movie theater in town that you and your family can visit when the weather turns sour. Feel free to travel up and down Highway 101, where you can find hiking trails, more beach access points, and wonderful scenic views of the mountains, coastline, and the Pacific! Very nice home base, close to the beach and everything we needed to be comfortable.Only issues we had were 1. The carpets in the entire house were damp when we arrived. From the smell we assumed the cleaners had shampoos the carpets. Multiple dog stains, which was not unexpected. 2. The back yard is not secured for pets. Back gates are hanging high with 2-3 foot gap on the bottom.Otherwise, would recommend. It was affordable and met our needs.

Found the bedding to be damp and soiled. Mold and mil dew in both the down stairs bathroom and the smaller of the two bedrooms. This unit is an upstairs down stairs property not disclosed in the description. Also bring your own pans as the pots and pans are in very rough shape. Would not stay here again.

Do not pass this beach home up. We had never visited Seaside and was initially torn about where in town to stay. I am soooo glad we landed here. The location is in a very quiet and peaceful area of town. We had tons of room on the beach where we were and weren’t close to anyone else. This location is a short 10 minute walk to the city center if you want to see any shops or go get gelato. The beach near the center of the town was heavily crowded. This home had plenty of space for our family of 4 and a nice deck to enjoy as well. Would love to come back and stay here.

Cute, quiet retreat

This was a great spot for a quiet trip out of town, with just about everything we could need. Very close to beach access. The kitchen was well stocked with any hardware you might need. I didn’t notice the yard isn’t fully fenced, so be aware you’ll need to keep your pups leashed.

Disappointed.

The couches were terrible. There was rust in the tub downstairs. The washer was very loud and could not be used if someone was laying down. The dryer was in a closet that needed a flashlight to operate the Settings. Carpet was old and looked like something that had been in an office. Bathrooms were extremely small. Nowhere to put makeup or toothbrush. Disappointed would not stay there again.

Horrible experience with Oregon Beach Vacations

We were not able to stay at this location. At 12:47pm on 8-19-24 I was sent a text saying the hot water was out at this location. Not a voice phone call. I was driving to Seaside and did not see the text until I stopped driving and arrived at the reservation address. Oregon Beach Vacations sent an e-mail telling us that we were moved to a different location. I talked with Oregon Beach Vacations and offered to stay there without hot water and was told that was against their policy. I even offered to sign a release. The next location was a one hour drive south to Rockaway beach. We had no other options at this point. When we arrived at the Rockaway Beach location it was not only no where near the beach, it was a complete dump. We were surprised that anyone would consider staying there. I called Oregon Beach Vacations and told them this was completely unacceptable. Luckily I was able to secure the last hotel rooms back in Seaside for the night. We arrived at the hotel at 9pm. Our first evening was shot. Discussing with Oregon Beach Vacations they thought they might have another location in Seaside but we would have to wait to see if they could get it cleaned. On 8-20-24 we checked out of our hotel at 11:00am and waited to see if we had a place to stay. Oregon Beach Vacations had the next location figured out and we were allowed to check in at 4:00pm. Day two essentially shot. This was a horrible experience. We will never use OBV again. I should get a full refund. Thank you.

Great spot for beach vacation and chill time

This is a good spot for spending beach vacation and chill time. The house layout if good. We stayed here with our friends (4 adults, a toddler, and a dog). Everything worked out well and. we had a great stay. The house is in a very calming and tucked away from all the hustle bustle. Path to the beach is 2 blocks away. The host sent us all the required info on time and in detail. Internet was fast. I would recommend this host.

Weekend at the beach

The house was located less than a block from the boardwalk and beach. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house was updated but could use new flooring. Overall we had a good stay and enjoyed the weekend!

The property was adequate, it had what we needed for the most part. We felt the house should gave been accessible for the lower level, incase of a fire, so there would have been a way out, but the lower level door was pad locked. Since this property welcomes dogs, having a fully fenced yard would have been nice. The gates for the fence do not go all the way to the ground, so the dogs could leave the yard. The bathrooms are very small. The bathrooms need more hooks to hang towels and clothes. Also a hair dryer would have been nice! The kitchen was nice, it was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. There wasnt any extra pillow cases, we had to buy some. The downstairs bathroom floor was covered in sand when we arrived. The lights for the front door were not working, made it difficult to see to unlock the door. Having a mirror in the bedrooms would be nice, so someone else can use the bathroom, while the other person is putting on makeup or doing their hair.

Perfect Quick Trip

Quick trip to the coast. Wanted to be up north this time. This house was the perfect location. Very clean. Nice furnishings. Loved have a washer/dryer. So close to the beach. Walked down several times a day.

Dirtier and smellier than imagined

Location is the only reason we stayed here. That was as described. You cannot describe the smell of this house except the stank that hits you walking into an animal shelter. Lingering ICK upstairs
downstairs was musty basement smell and animal smell. Think wet golden retriever who wasn’t bathed ever, met with damp, dark, sadness in an unforgettable nasal experience. Literally we will not forget wearing socks we threw away daily to not touch the carpet. Would not stay here again due to cleanliness. (Spiders in bedroom corners, dishwasher was not emptied, carpet was nasty, smell of house).

Comfy but


The home is comfy and roomy and very convenient to the promenade and beach!! Lots of light with all the windows in living room and kitchen. But the carpet is so gross, it really should be replaced for rentals. Even though pet friendly, the amount of stains and moisture in this carpet is unacceptable. Also warn that this is not completely fenced for dogs. We took portable dog fence sections and worked for us. The neighbor to the West has very threatening dogs and the owner of this rental needs to get at least lattice up on the west side. The west neighbor told us immediately it needed fixed and he would not be responsible if our dogs got on his property. (We let him know we were just a vacation renter.) on the East side, deck side everything is peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed Seaside and excited to see it is flourishing!!

Great Pet Friendly Location

Had a really nice time during our stay! You can totally sense the pet-friendly vibe, maybe a tad obvious from the scent and a few pet marks on the carpet, but hey, that's part of it, right? No biggie at all. And let's be real, finding a cool pet-friendly spot ain't always a cakewalk, so this was a win. The location rocked, and the house itself? Adorbs! Perfect for us and our little fam. đŸŸđŸĄ All in all, a pretty darn good stay!
