Didn’t like having to check in / out at the Casino Hotel which was up a hill from the Lodge. I liked that it was quiet and clean.

It was clean, etc., but the furnishings are looking worn; its clear they're concentrated on the casino side. You have to check in at the casino so don't waste your time like we did driving up to the motel lobby. No fridge or microwave, and no room service so if you're too dead tired to fight your way through the casino you're going to go hungry.

This is false advertising. The picture of our stay is not where we stayed. We checked in at the correct hotel only to be pushed down to the "lodge" that was a motel (which felt much more dangerous with a bunch of people living in their RVs illegally in the same parking lot) below the hotel. I would like this escalated as I am going to be seeking our $ back. If I had known what I was purchasing I would have booked something else for me and my elderly mom.

They should really let you know when you book at the Lodge, you will have to cue for parking in the crowds at the casino and take a nice hike up to their check in. There is no check in at The Lodge. Even though it is an entire the building hotel. I got to find that out by finding it and seeing a nice sign in front. After a long day of driving it is a terribly unwelcoming way to finish your trip. Not to mention an extremely rude valet worker at the casino as the cherry on top. Don’t stay here if you expect convenience.

There was no microwave or fridge, the walls were thin plus there is a door separating another room so I had to listen to a loud annoying couple have sex during the little time I spent in the room, the ceiling was dirty with dust and kept falling on me front the loud, watery AC.

So you have to drive up to the main hotel/casino to check in. It was an average place to stay. The best part is the proximity to Montezuma Castle. It’s a must see!

The room at the Lodge at Cliff Castle Casino was huge! The beds comfortable, and the location very quiet. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. And it’s located just across the street from Mitchell, the Fried Bread Guy, so it’s an excellent location!

No plugs for charging electronics, had to unplug phone, no plug for coffee maker, had to take to bathroom, beds very old and uncomfortable, a/c heating old and noisy, shower curtain yellowed, had to go up to casino to check in, no clear signage to lobby there. Very dark at night. Stayed two nights had to go back to lobby second day as internet password changed.

Need more lighting on the property. I traveled alone and the property showed on the website was the Cliff castle hotel. On the website it showed casino, shops but its on the other property. I didnt sleep well i was concerned. There was no staff on duty at front desk either.

Great place to stay.

Our stay was amazing, spacious and clean rooms. I would recommend maybe fridges in rooms. They do have a coffee pot in each room, which is great. But we had a great stay overall.

The Lodge

For an older hotel it was very nice. Bed was comfy, the rooms were clean and it was super quiet. The only downside is there was only one outlet and it was in the entryway. So we had to charge our phones in the floor. The room we were in could use a new table and chairs. They were VERY wobbly. Other than that it was a great stay and all the staff we interacted with were extremely nice. Would stay here again for sure.

Check in desk was closed...had to go to another hotel. Very few outlets in room. Floor was gritty. Mattresses were good. Poor signage. Dim corridors.
