Mallard Lakes charges a $150 amenity fee for parking and pool access from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Guests must visit the Mallard Lakes office to pay this fee. During other periods of the year, the amenity fee is $100 per week. The community offers a shared grilling area available on a first-come, first-served basis, and guests are responsible for cleaning the grill after use.

Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking, and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This is a nice condo in a very good location (including pools and pickleball) at a very good price. The host is very communicative and helpful. This is not 10/10 review because it was not sufficiently clear from the listing that sheets and towels are not provided (the host has said she will make that clearer in the future) and we had to spend our first couple of hours dealing with that. Also, a few incidentals (sponge, dish towel, extra toilet paper) were not provided. Knowing these things, you should have a 10/10 stay at this property.

Yearly beach vacation

This was the first time we stayed at this location and the kids are already talking about a return trip! The property was very neat and clean when we arrived. Check in was easy for us. There’s plenty of space for the family to spread out! Kitchen is well maintained and stocked with some essentials. We loved the location close to the front pool and shuffle board and Pickleball! Josie let us use chairs and pool noodles which was awesome! Josie was an amazing host!

Home Away From Home

This is our second time staying at the Rapp home in Mallard Lakes. We absolutely love the home, the view and the amenities. There were lots of family events and my kids enjoyed the pool more than the beach! Even the neighbors were friendly to us! It is a great place for families with kids of all ages. As for the host, Josi is so easy to communicate with and is extremely responsive. Although I have never had concerns, shes available right when I need her for anything!

Wonderful Beach Home & Experience

This was our first time renting in Mallard Lakes and it was a great experience. The home was exceptionally clean and stocked with all the amenities we could need for the week. The communication with the owner was super easy and thorough both prior to and during our stay. We especially loved the screened in porch overlooking the lake, and the community had lots of fun activities. Our only disappointment was that our stay felt too short. We will 100% be back!

Amazing house

Highly recommend!! My family and I had a wonderful time staying here. The house was perfect for our family of 5 ( 3 toddlers 3 and under and 2 adults) perfect location near OC New Jersey and also DE beaches. Josie was wonderful helping answer all of our questions and giving us recommendations for things to do in the are during our stay. We will definitely be back next summer!!

Everything about our trip and stay at this property was absolutely perfect. The communication with the owner was open, honest, and very welcoming. It was a perfect experience and one that my family and I are looking forward to doing again as soon as possible. We had a wonderful time staying at the Rapp’s beach house. It was clean and decorated very beach and cute. The location is perfect. Close to the Delaware State Park in Fenwick Island for the beach. Will definitely stay at the beach house again.

Relaxing Vacay

Mallard Lakes is an amazing hidden gem! Just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Fenwick, Ocean City, and Bethany, but in a quiet community that offers many amenities, including two outdoor pools.
