Great location, excellent services.

Great location with great services. Owner was very helpful and knowledgeable for what you would like to know while traveling in Turkey. We had a good stay.

The room descriptions are misleading . 1. There is no twin bed all twin beds are for one person. 2. Hot water is working with electricity and you need your key to turn on how’s water heater. 3.air condition is blowing right above your bed . 4. Double beds are two twin beds not one piece. 5. Breakfast is not like serpme kahvaltı. It doesn’t worth to buy breakfast from there. Outside you can buy breakfast 250 Turkish liras per person from different places. 6. There is no designated free parking place for hotel. 7. Streets are too tight to drive around and parking is impossible. 8. Be aware of beds can be broken. One of our bed was broken before. Other people also posted that deficiency . 9. The room is not that clean. 10. Bathroom is huge but there was a mold on the ceiling of bathroom and room.

Excellent location

The hotel is very nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent! The location was amazing. We were 2 minutes from St.Johns church and a beautiful castle. There are plenty of restaurants across the street as well as shops. I would highly recommend.

Lovely convenient location, very pleasant hotel. Owner very understanding and helpful - we made a mistake over dates and they were all very accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful - different vegetarian options cooked on both mornings we were there.

Everything was perfect.The staff were wonderful,the room was clean,and had plenty of space,the bed was large and extremely comfortable.The shower and air con were fantastic.The location couldn’t be beaten. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and taken on roof top terrace with lovely views.This hotel and it’s staff are first class.

Well worth the money

Great location, lovely breakfast. Next to Roman aqueduct ruins and Turkish storks who summer there from Africa. Walking distance to restaurants and cafes and grocery store.

Though it's small but very clean. Though it's not next to the station but it's not far and it is a pleasant walk from Selcuk station to the hotel. Basically a straight road will lead you very near the hotel

Great hotel made us feel like part of their family

Wonderful! The hotel was very nice and in a great location! The staff was wonderful super helpful and friendly. They even invited is for afternoon tea and pancakes :) while one of them delighted us by playing traditional Turkish music. The check out day we had to leave before breakfast and they were very kind to pack us some sandwitches to take out with us.

Ibrahim treated my wife and I with his beautiful Saz performance and traditional Turkish songs. Fantastic hospitality from Ibrahim. Great stay in Selena Hotel.

hotel was overbooked and host lost our reservation

We had two rooms reserved for two families (4 adults and 3 kids) for one night. When we arrived to the hotel at 7:30pm and there were no rooms for us. Selena was fully booked already. The host claimed they never received the reservation from expedia.com or at least he claimed that was the case. And the host tried to "save" us by putting us to the hotel next door but tried to charge us with the same price for the rooms. And we found later from internet the new hotel room costs half of the price of Selena. And if Selena hotel continues to get 4+ star reviews in expedia.com, I would question if it is indeed expedia.com really didn't send reservation to the hotel. The overall experience was very upsetting and this is the worst hotel experience we ever had.

Good location and clean hotel.

The room was very comfortable, clean and in good condition. However my travelling companion had a room with no window so check first if that's an issue. Breakfast was very simple and perhaps insufficient. Staff were good. In general it's good value for money.

Happy Days

The Selena Hotel was great and the owner and staff were wonderful. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace taking in the view of St John's basilica and the citadel perched on the hill minutes away started each day beautifully. The breakfast was very good and fresh. A five minute drive from Ephesus and ten minutes from the Aegian makes the hotel so convenient. Selcuk is a delightful small Turkish town.
