The expansive patio, conveniently located just off the kitchen and dining area, offers the perfect setting for relaxation and entertainment. NEIGHBORHOOD
Escape to the tranquility of the Ohio Valley, nestled amidst rolling hills and farmland, yet conveniently located just 1.5 hours from Columbus and 2.5 hours from Cleveland. With easy access from I-70 and I-77, the home itself provides ample opportunities for relaxation and entertainment.

The surrounding area boasts attractions like Seneca Lake and The Wilds. Rent a boat or kayaks at Seneca Lake Marina, enjoy Seneca Lake beach, hiking trails and splash pad, or embark on a Wilds' safari tour for an unforgettable adventure. Explore the charming towns of Cambridge and Marietta, both offering a variety of shops and restaurants to satisfy your curiosity and appetite.

PARKING
While there is free parking on-site, the gravel parking area can comfortably fit a maximum of 4 vehicles. We ask that guests do not block the shared driveway to the barns.

PETS
We allow up to 2 dogs, maximum of 50lbs each, for $35/dog/night (up to a one week stay). **If you have more than 2 dogs, exceed the 50lb weight limit, or are staying longer than one week, please request. We approve on a case-to-case basis.

STAIRS
There are 3 steps to enter the back patio door of the property. Inside, there is a large flight of stairs (see photos) to get to ALL 3 bedrooms on the second floor.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests are NOT permitted to enter the surrounding fields or barns - this is not our property. The yard surrounding the home and patio are for guest use. Please do not venture past the gray building off the back patio.

You will have access to the entire home minus the unfinished basement and attic, these two areas will be inaccessible to guests. There are two storage closets that will remain locked during your stay.

LONG STAYS
Any stay over 14 nights will require weekly housekeeping to change linens, restock, clean bathrooms and general areas. This will be $125 fee/clean and coordinated with guest after booking!

EASY CHECK-IN PROCESS

It’s just like when you check in at a hotel and give your ID and security deposit to the front desk, except our front desk is online! We use a web-based system called Happy Guest, and you’ll receive a personalized rental agreement, ID verification, and a simple security hold (which is not a security deposit) to receive your arrival instructions. It’s simple: finish these steps, and you’re all set to enjoy your stay!

Note: arrival info won’t be sent without completing these steps, and refunds aren’t possible if skipped.

Gorgeous!!!

Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. What a beautiful place to unwind! The home is straight out of the pages of architectural digest
. Thoughtfully appointed and stunning design choices throughout. The land surrounding the property is beautiful. Stacy was wonderful too!!. couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay!

Great spot with everything you need!

This is a great property for a little getaway. We were here from Mississippi and another family from Florida so we could visit more family in Marietta. This place is gorgeous. It had everything we needed. We cooked several meals here and utilized the convection oven and the Blackstone. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with pots and utensils. The coffee bar was a necessity and we greatly appreciated it! Will probably stay here again when we come back up! Also enjoyed the white farm cat that said hello to us everyday, he was so sweet.

Weekend Stay

I couldn't be happier with our stay at the Garfield Inn. It was perfect for our group of five. The location was incredibly peaceful and private. Not only was the house absolutely stunning and clean, but it was also incredibly well-stocked with toiletries, paper and plastic products, coffee, tea, and much more. Which was greatly appreciated and a pleasant surprise compared to other rentals we have stayed at. The backyard with the firepit, Blackstone, and hot tub was perfect for relaxing and hanging out. It was also enjoyable to watch the neighboring barn animals. We even had the pleasure of meeting a white barn cat who was very friendly and appreciated the attention and treats.Sandy, the host, was an excellent communicator. She responded quickly when I reached out before check-in and checked in with us afterward to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. If you’re looking for a place in Sarahsville, this is it. You will not be disappointed.
