Basic accommodations with great location

It has a small lobby where you can store luggage as needed. The lobby also has tables and chairs and a small kitchen. It's a self check in process with helpful signage. A board near the entry lists your name and room number. The key is left in your room to pick up. Our room had 4 bunk beds and a small bathroom. Very basic, nothing fancy, not much extra space. There's a small closet for hanging jackets and a mini fridge for drinks. The bedding was clean. The beds are firm but this seems to be standard in Korea. The towels are very small which is also standard in Korea. We stayed in April and the room was very warm, a little too warm. The host was gracious and while not always around responded to email quickly. The wifi was on the hallway wall. It's a cute neighborhood centrally located between Namdaemun, Namsan tower, and Myeongdong. It's more quiet than many of the bigger hotels in the vicinity. Showering gets the whole bathroom floor wet. Shower shoes are provided and you'll need them when you want to use the bathroom after someone has showered. This is common in Korea.

Room was small but great for the price. The guesthouse did not respond to messages about check-in, which they request in the Expedia description, but they man the front desk so you just have to go to the guesthouse to check in.
