You do get what you paid for. If you’re coming during the winter This is kind of a far walk from HONG DAE ST. Almost 20 min. Thankfully it was just me in my room and i could lock it from inside. Otherwise there could of been someone on the other bed. Shared restroom with another room. Poor lighting and feel weird going to the restroom, so many hairs from other people. I don’t think i would stay here again, I rather pay a little more for a more convenient location.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. Never met the host in person but she responded by text. Only two suggestions - i) better to change the door passcode every time with a new guest, for guest's security, ii) improve the water heater condition so water can be hotter.

The property itself if very comfortable and warm during winter. It also felt safe and secure. As usual with guest houses and hostels your experience may vary depending on who the fellow guests are especially when sharing rooms so keep this in mind.

Made a rather last minute booking so in some sense it was value for money. Room was quiet since it wasn't full. Would have preferred very much if the shower and the toilet cubicle were separate. Other than the pleasant and friendly foreign male volunteer/worker whom I met at check-in and check-out, service is just okay. If you are looking for a quiet stay alone, this would be suitable. If you are looking for more social and lively stays though, this might not be for you.

Staff change is needed

Location is good. Female floor and dormitory is a nice idea, however, some of the staff members made it horrible experience. Volunteer from Uruguay and the other very inexperienced volunteer from the U.S. behaved unprofessional and sometimes inappropriate. Especially, the staff from Uruguay was disrespectful on 2 occasions. If they replace these 2 people, I would definitely return to stay here.

high street guest house is very closed to the new hip place university town. there are lots of nightlife options and food option there . Check in and check out processes are pretty straight forward. would recommend this place.

The owner was very kind and the rooms were great. We stayed in a room with a bunk that was attached to a common space shared with another room and a shared bathroom. It was clean, comfortable, and everything worked just the way it should. We had a lot of baggage with us but it was still easy to get to from Hongik University Station. Very great experience if you want a place to stay that feels like your own little apartment in Seoul.

Really good located hostel with comfortable bed, nice shared kitchen and clean bathroom. Location is quite but just few minutes away from the party area and the subway station. I totally raccomand this guesthouse :)
