From the moment you enter this cabin you will be amazed at the details and natural beauty of the large 2ft diameter logs and stack stone workmanship. Unlike other "Big Log" lodges in the Smoky Mountain area, this is the only cabin of its "design" located within just 6-7 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg and 4-5 minutes to Pigeon Forge. Not to mention the privacy and spectacular mountain views that you will enjoy.

This fully equipped kitchen has it all from the solid granite counter tops, upgraded kitchen cabinetry to all the modern features including stainless steel sinks and refrigerator with auto ice-maker.

Picture yourself in the dining room with your family or friends surrounded by breathtaking views of Mt. Leconte and the surrounding mountains ranges. Your family feast or barbeque will never taste better.

The views never end and are even more spectacular from the living room. The high vaulted ceilings emphasize the open spacious design. You will be in the lap of luxury when you sink into the comfortable leather couches. Unwind and enjoy the rugged stone fireplace and 55 inch flat screen TV while you relax with friends and family.
The game room offers a pool table full wet bar and an additional full size refrigerator and 55 inch for family enjoyment.
The main level bedroom includes a queen size log bed and 32 inch flat screen TV. A full size bathroom with a separate stall glass shower and additional whirlpool jacuzzi tub with private window views.
The upper level bedroom is spacious and includes a king size bed and sitting area which also includes a 32 inch flat screen TV. A full bathroom is located just off this bedroom and also includes a gl ass stall shower and a separate, private jacuzzi whirlpool tub.\
The other lower level 3rd bedroom has 2 full size beds and the 4th bedroom includes two twin beds which will be ideal for 2 children.
You will be one with nature as you enjoy the outdoors and the views while rocking your cares away on the decks. Don't forget the steaks, for a great grilled dinner on our full size gas grill or just soak your cares away in the hot tub while counting the stars at night.
Get away from it all and enjoy a good book or just relax upstairs in the sitting area while enjoying the views.
You will enjoy the privacy that this Lodge offers, not only are the views unsurpassed but the location is unbeatable being only a few minutes to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Perfect location, spacious and well equipped house with beautiful views. Super friendly and helpful host. Definitely recommend this house if you’re looking for peace and quiet, like trails and mountain hiking. We enjoyed it a lot and made some beautiful memories together as a family.

The views were beautiful! I loved the layout of the cabin. There is enough room to spread out as well as to spend time together. The location was perfect. Almost centrally located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We loved everything about it and hated for our weekend to end.

We had a great stay at Dancing Bear Retreat. The cabin is perfectly situated between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, and the drive up was easy with well-maintained roads. The views were beautiful, and the layout worked really well for our family, especially with my father staying on the main level and our teenagers happily taking over the lower level. You certainly get peace and privacy here, as the neighboring cabins aren't right on top of you like other cabins in the area.We loved relaxing in the hot tub at night after long days out exploring. It was definitely a highlight of the trip. The host was also great to work with, very communicative and quick to respond.The only small downside was being notified on our way up that it was ladybug, Japanese beetle, and stink bug season. Quite a few did make their way inside, which was a bit tough for my wife, who isn’t a fan of bugs.Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Dancing Bear Retreat.

This cabin is truly a gem, offering breathtaking views that are unlike anything I've ever experienced. However, I would advise against bringing young children due to the challenging access and steep terrain. For those who are not afraid of heights and can navigate the location, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to this stunning retreat. The scenery is well worth the journey!

Amazing property! If you want a quiet retreat, this is the perfect place! It is tucked in the mountain side with no neighbors looking in your windows. Relax on the deck and listen to nature, or read a good book. Spacious on the inside, perfectly spaced out bedrooms with plenty of bathrooms for everyone!
