Convenient and cozy

Overall, the stay was mostly a good experience. The Wi-Fi was not great for anyone no matter the location. The rugs need non slip pads under them. Several of us almost fell slipping on them. There were broken towel and TP holders. Beds were comfy. Water pressure good. Kitchen could stand some updating.

Great cabin

Overall, the cabin was great! It is so close to downtown, mountain coasters, and the Island. There is ample space for larger families to spread out in the cabin. The living room is a little small, but it works with the basement seating. The only complaint we had was the odd bathtub in the master bedroom could have been better utilized as a bathroom. The master bedroom has to share a bathroom with the double queen room. In our case, I had to share a bathroom with 4 teenage girls and my wife!

Heartbreaking

We got to the property at 4:00 pm. The door code they gave us was incorrect so we called the main office at Eagles Ridge after 3 different codes we finally got in, only to be hit in the face by the worst smell ever! The further in to the cabin i got, i found food still on the counter and the table. The carpet in the basement was filthy and had popcorn and crumbs everywhere. The theater area was also dirty. Upstairs there was a bucket catching water leaking down onto the floor. Toilets were dirty. I called and filed a report. The cleaning manager was very nice, however the secretary was not. My family and i left at 5:30pm only to have nowhere to go because they said they had no other cabins available. We didn't find a room until 9:45 Pm. Thankful there was a cancelation or all 10 of us would of been sleeping in our cars considering we all live 6 hours away. Pretty much ruined the ending of our vacation. I called VRBO Customer Service they said all they could do for me was tell me to file this review. Needless to say it was our first bad experience. and no accommodations were made besides an I'm sorry for you misfortune. I hope that the cabin got cleaned up. it had a lot of potential, had it only been clean. i didn't mean to sound picky but i don't live dirty and refused to stay in filth.

Nice location — but could use a little TLC

Everything was nice except the bedding and furniture could use some work. The kitchen table and chairs were broken before we got there. There were burn marks and cuts in the sheets and a large burn mark on the counter. The couches also had very little support. The location was perfect and so close to everything but you felt like you were away from it all which was awesome! Overall it was a great stay other than the amenities.
