Whispering Pines: Pet Friendly - Close to Gatlinburg - New Hot Tub

- This cabin in our Country Pines Resort features an enclosed bedroom on the main floor and an open loft bedroom upstairs, which includes a secondary queen bed, with a dresser and TV.
- Not a secluded cabin. Due to being located in a resort setting, there will be neighboring cabins to be mindful of.
- Cabins located in the Country Pines Resort, such as this one, are not advertised as cabins displaying any views, These cabins are set in a wooded area, so you will not experience a mountain or city view when reserving this rental property.
- Cabins are easily accessible year-round as the roads are well maintained by the resort staff to provide stress-free travel to all guests. The resort is lower in elevation and features roads that are paved, wide, and do not require special vehicles or four-wheel drive to navigate. However, should a four-wheel drive vehicle be accessible to you, it would benefit our guests to drive that vehicle when visiting during the winter months in case of snowfall, to be able to access other parts of town comfortably.
- Offers a natural wood burning fireplace inside of the cabin. Please keep in mind, our office does not supply wood to guests during their stay. 
- Furnished with Aspen Log Furniture to enhance the rustic cabin experience.
- Charcoal for the outdoor grill, firewood, kitchen spices/oils for preparing meals in the kitchen, coffee filters for the coffee maker, and clothes hangers for the closets are special items that we would like to point out that we do not provide to guests during their stay.

The cabin itself was nice and clean but the front porch steps railing was loose and not sturdy. The hot tub was nice and spacious. We had a bird that kept pecking on the kitchen window all hours of the day and night for someone reason. The area was pretty calm and quiet besides being right next to a main roadway that was a little annoying.

This was a great property! Clean, well appointed, a perfect distance to be out in the hills but only a 10 minute drive to everything. The rooms were great sized, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and updated. The hot tub was fantastic!

Excellent location, minutes from everything! Whispering Pines has cozy cabin vibe, perfect for couple and their dog for Thanksgiving week, comfortable and well-appointed (plenty of soap, shampoo, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher pods, bath and hot tub towels; kitchen small but has everything you need), very very clean with nice bathroom and excellent water pressure/hot water. Property and development steep but walkable depending on you and your pet's mobility.

The cabin was well kept. Everything was very clean including the hottub. The folder that was readily available had precise operating instructions for everything. The cabin is not very isolated like it claims in the add. You have neighbors on both sides if you. The master bedroom was a little small. Even with a queen size bed it was a little tight. It had a small closet with no hangers and one dresser. So my wife unpacked and I lived out of my suitcase. A small price to pay while on vacation. If you are traveling with more than two people there is a second open loft bedroom area. But there is just the one bathroom next to the master bedroom. Bathroom shower was fantastic. Overall the cabin is very nice and well apportioned. My wife and I would definitely come back.

The location was perfect!!! The cabin was extremely cute and cozy, and the hot tub!!! Amazing!!! The beds were pretty uncomfortable, unfortunately, and they were only full size (probably my bad for not researching that more). Overall it was pretty great!

Whispering Pines cabin was exactly as it was described in the listing and it exceeded our expectations. My wife and I could not have had a better stay. The location was easy to get to, the property/yard was great and the cabin was very clean. I will highly recommend Outrageous Cabins for any stays and we will definitely be using them for future stays.

The cabin was great! In a secluded spot where you can rest peacefully. The property is quit steep and was difficult for dog walking. However, the cabin was fabulous with great support by the outrageous cabins crew!! I highly recommend!!

Cabin Getaway

Cabin was way nicer than we expected! Our daughter absolutely loved staying in the loft with the wonderful windows in the main area. Very clean and well equipped. Posting says that there’s only a starter supply of soaps, but it was more than enough for a 5 day visit for 3. We will absolutely stay here again. It’s only 5 minutes to Dollywood and 20 from the smokies, but still secluded and perfect for a quiet evening in the hot tub before watching a good movie. Cannot recommend enough!

Whispering Pines Was Nice

My spouse and I got married in late January and wasn’t able to take a honeymoon due to our work schedules. I booked this online and checked in online. Everything was great for the most part. The driveway is a bit steeper than we thought it would be so if you have any injuries or have a hard time on un-level ground that might be an issue for you! The hot tub was great for relaxing after a long day of shopping! We had only one issue and it was the dryer did work properly the night prior to check out and I was having a hard time getting it to work. I think it over heated or something cause the next morning I tried it and it worked so not sure what was going on there. I gave it a 4 start only due to the in-level driveway and the dryer issues. Everything else was great! Thanks so much for allowing us to stay!! 😊

Very nice cabin!! Pet friendly!!

We loved our stay at Whispering Pines! The cabin was lovely and the furniture and beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was wonderful and the cabin has all the amenities you need right at hand. The only thing that wasn’t five star is the location. It’s not a bad location, but it is very close to the end of the rd, so all of the traffic noise from Upper Middle Creek Rd can be a bit of a nuisance at times when you’re sitting outside. That is honestly the only negative I can think of.

If Motel 6 was a cabin

Cabin was clean, kitchen stocked, bathroom stocked necessities. New hot tub, but would not go over 100. I knew when I walked in something was off. The pictures are absolutely not what this cabin is. I never rent with cabins right next door. Too close for comfort. Cabins can see into cabins. No privacy unless you close the blinds. Two couches with loungers, no pull out bed. Cannot sleep on them otherwise, i would have because the beds were from the Flintstones. . Furniture, decor, in picture was totally different, not a single rug in the entire cabin, no cozy cabin decor, comforters were plain solid brown, no cute decorator comforters, not whats shown in the pics, none of the extras in these pics were in this cabin. The best part was the main road behind the cabin. I could hear the guy next door coughing up a lung at 6am the 1st morning for about 2 hours poor fella. The charcoal grill is park style in front at the drive way. So why you're cooking the cameras and 3 incredible bright lights shine on you. Cant turn the lights off. These cameras and lights also shine into the living room. It's never dark in the cabin at night and it feels like you're being watched unless in a room. We had a good trip, but this was not tranquil, cozy, mountainy feeling, or private in the least. Bare bones and got duped.

Overall nice rental property

We stayed in this cabin just short of a week. The location is great. Just a few miles away from all the attractions and far enough away to be peaceful. The house is very large and accommodating. We had two dogs with us and found the space to be great for our little family. The hot tub and wrap around porch were nice additions, and the shower stall looked recently updated and was very spacious. Pros: Location-very short drive to all the attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Clean, spacious and very easy check in/out process. Management company was easily accessible for any questions or issues and the house was actually bigger than I expected it to be from the pictures. Full size appliances was a plus. Cons: The houses in the community are quite close together and the driveways are extremely steep. There weren't any issues for us with this, but the pictures are misleading. There is a washer/dryer combo in the cabin but we had an issue with the dryer turning off and running a fully cycle. The dishwasher also left the dishes very wet and sudsy. The house was clean, but I have stayed in properties that were cleaner. Nothing gross or that would prevent me from coming back, but there were cob webs in a lot of places, the fridge had been wiped out, but not cleaned thoroughly, the counters were a little dusty, and so were the lamps and walls in the bedroom. The updated shower with dual shower heads was a really nice addition, but the one shower head never got hot.

Cute Cabin w/ Great Location!

Communication with property management was fantastic, cabin was super clean and well stocked at arrival. Location was perfect for Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Dollywood. Super close to activities and food. We stayed with our 7 year old who loved the loft, video game and especially the wonderful hot tub. Great vacation!!

Cabin was nice, clean, accommodable, pet friendly. Only thing I want to mention is that the photo in the listing was not quite what I expected. The cabin appears to be away from other cabins and the terrain appears to be fairly level, which is one reason I booked. Upon arriving, we found that there are other cabins within approx 30-50' and the terrain is pretty sloped, making walking the dogs a little more difficult. All in all the cabin was great.
