This cabin was great for the entire family to include our dog. It was clean and comfortable. It is located up a high mountain with windy roads, so care is needed here. Overall it was a great experience. Thank you
Just got back home.We absolutely loved your home and had a fabulous time on our Christmas vacation!! Got to see some bears on the property. Thanks again for sharing your cabin with us!!!
Host was very responsive and offered to send cleaning crew and maintenance but all the inadequacies were not quick fixes. If I listed all the problems it would take a very long time but have pics of most and will talk to anyone about it if I need to.
The view was good. We had 2 bear cubs come by early in the day and returned with mama bear a few hours later. Watched the cubs wrestle each other for nearly 10 minutes.
Very clean and comfortable!Everything in this cabin was excellent. Very comfortable beds, lots of seating in both the living room and kitchen/dining room. All appliances worked as they should. I liked that there is both a Keurig and regular coffee maker. I did more cooking then I normally do on vacation, so I used just about everything in the kitchen. Plenty of space for two families if needed. The only reason I gave neighberhood area 4 stars vs 5 is the road up to the cabin was a little steep and winding, so if you are a flatlander and don't like mountain roads, this may not be a cabin for you.We received excellent directions from the host and Waze also worked good with 1small glitch.Close to Cades Cove area, Townsend and Pigeon Forge. Our fur baby felt right at home in this cabin and loved laying on the porch or deck watching the chipmunks.
Had an AWESOME week at papa wolf!!!! Absolutely the best cabin we have stayed at. The location is perfect! Communication was great and the cabin was very spacious and clean. Thank you. Highly recommend
Walked in to find dirty utensil on kitchen table and left over danish box on top of frig.
Place needs work...many little things need to repaired. Furniture very uncomfortable
Thank God for the great view and the bears that visited. Not a place we will visit again.
This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it was very nice and clean just as it was the first time we stayed. It has an amazing view and we had a lot of fun and really enjoyed our stay.
We had a great time at Frank's cabin he's a great host helped us out a lot place was super comfortable especially the beds the man cave in the sunroom was really cool with all the signs on the wall and the view from the cave is stellar This place checked all the boxes I would definitely recommend it
First, the house is beautiful. The view from the back porch is stunning.
However, there are some things to know:
1) You can get lost very easily your first time there. We did, even though we used Google maps. The written directions were not real clear.
2) Though the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pans. Bring any staples you might need if you plan to cook/drink. There is not a working ice maker and there is not even salt and pepper in the home.
3) If you are cold-natured, bring blankets. The beds only have sheets and the bedspread.
4) bring hand towels and hand soap if you will use all the bathrooms. A couple bathrooms only had a folded washrag to dry your hands on and no soap.
5)The house says it sleeps 10 (or 12?), but there is only enough seating on the porch for 4. So bring camp chairs if you plan to "party on the porch". :)
Still these are minor issues and after a couple trips to the store we were good. We had a lovely time!
Great home on the doorstep of the Smokey Mountains National Park
Very nice home. Plenty of room for our 6 adults. Only 2 private bedrooms, but large bunk bed in the loft. Well equipped kitchen, internet, and Smart TVs. Outdoor grills are charcoal. The picnic table shown in the photo was missing.
Great enclosed "sun room" with an awesome view. Great for watching the sunrise, but it gets quite warm in the summer. Still a great place to gather in the morning and evening, play pool and foosball.
Don't use GPS - follow Frank's directions.
