Cleanliness and location were big plus points. Disappointing check in process as they had not charged my card at time of booking (which should have happened) so by the time I arrived the card had expired. Luckily this was resolved but caused some anxiety as I was travelling solo. A WhatsApp message had been sent a month earlier from an Indian phone associated to an Indian charity asking me to click links and verify payment. I took this to be fraudulent so asked the hotel directly on the Hotels.com platform if it was legitimate but they never responded. Seemed dodgy and believe Expedia customer info has been hacked and leaked so despite the good stay I have been put off by the lack of response from the hotel and challenges with delayed payment and then checking in
