Guest Access:
Our hotel is in a remote location, so please be aware of the long, windy drive if you aren't flying in. There are spots along the way through the mountains with no cell service, and at night it can be quite dark. If driving to our hotel, we suggest making the trip during daylight hours.

Due to the location being rural, food choices are limited and businesses aren't open as late as your typical city.

The Neighborhood:
A hidden gem in Shelter Cove, our boutique hotel is as close as you can get to the coast. We're more populated by pines than people, so be sure to prepare for your relaxing experience properly. We do have wifi in each room, but please note that cell service can be unreliable in our area. There are a few delicious restaurants nearby and a great general store that has anything you'd want from a quick drink to a sizzling steak!

Getting Around:
A car is recommended for your stay as rideshares are not readily available.

Other Things to Note:
The Hot Tub is part of our outdoor amenities and is a shared space with other guests in the hotel.

Please ensure no sand/rocks are tracked into the room from feet. Additional cleaning fees will apply if any rocks or sand is found by our housekeepers in the drains or throughout room.

‱Please do not move any furniture in the unit-
*A minimum charge of $100 will be billed to guest if any pieces of furniture have been moved

Ignore mentions of Whitethorn, just follow signs to Shelter Cove. The view and sound from our front porch table was perfect. Hot tub was the perfect temperature. Room was inviting and relaxing. Texts and emails were warm, welcoming and gave all the information needed. We will be back.

PERFECTION

If you need a great bed, clean room and the BEST VIEW
look no further. Wish we stayed longer but only used the property as a weigh station. Neighbors and people are easy going and the town is relaxed. Perfect place for anyone needing to rest and reconnect.

Beautiful Scenic Stay

As this was my first time to Northern California, I wanted this trip to be memorable for myself and family. Boy, did this listing live up to my expectations! Communication was excellent, room was clean, and hot tub was added bonus. The sea lions lounged on the rocks, and the tide rose and fell with the day. Deer ran around and played, and we saw few people. We really felt like we were on a private island surrounded by mountains and one an ocean. If you are looking for a quite, sightseeing drive and a view of the Pacific ocean right out your front door, look no further. If you are looking for tons of amenities, countless restaurants to choose from, and gift shops
then this is not your location. It is a very bohemian vibe. Really only one or two restaurants, no crowds, no large shopping. (Only one little general store). This is a place to get lost in the beauty, and not caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and stressful vacationing.

Great location looking down at the Pacific, even from your room window. Newly remodeled room that looked clean with a nice touch of tasteful decor. You could sit outside watching the waves splashing against the rocky shore for hours. Highly recommended.

Stunning and Easy

My wife and I stayed here with our dog over Easter weekend. The property is in a great location and had absolutely stunning views with easy beach access. Host was easy to reach and ready to help. Can’t wait to go back!

I could have stayed forever.

The views of the sunset over crashing waves was enough to make the trip incredible, but we were able to see the sunrise from the balcony as well with the perfect angle of the cove and the Inn. Check in was as easy as it could get, while still keeping up communication to know we weren’t just an afterthought. Although we might have also been the very first to stay here, it was pristine enough for us to be. The bed was big and soft, with a huge cozy comforter to let you leave the door cracked and stay warm and snuggly, listening to the waves crash. The worst part was leaving. Fantastic property and the best rental company I’ve used so far.
