My expectations weren't high, but I still feel like I overpaid. - I got charged at the front for "local taxes", despite pointing out I had already paid online. No manager around to get information. - The pool was so dirty the bottom steps weren't visible. - There was paint drippings everywhere, including the mattresses, chairs, everything. - The bathroom was small and dirty. There was still hair in the tub. I felt like I needed to wear shower shoes in it. - The bed was actually comfortable. But not enough to make up for the rest of the room.

Absolutely Terrible Stay – Avoid at All Costs Our family’s stay at this hotel was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had traveling. First, check-in was painfully slow, even though there was hardly a line. After finally getting our keys and making it to the room, we were shocked at what we found: The ceiling looked like it had been hastily plastered after a major water leak. The closet door had a hole that someone had clearly punched, poorly patched together. The bathroom had visible mildew. The sheets on the bed were dirty. We immediately decided this was not acceptable for our family. When we went back to the front desk to check out, the general manager told us he couldn’t check us out until 8 AM the next morning. Not only that, he started screaming at me, my wife, and several other guests who were also trying to leave because their rooms were in similar condition. While on the phone with corporate, they could hear how the GM was treating customers. Corporate confirmed that he could check everyone out immediately but he made a comment that he wouldn't get paid for the hotel stays if he checked the customers out before 8 AM. This is the first time I’ve ever seen such unprofessional and hostile behavior from hotel management. Between the filthy, damaged rooms and the general manager’s treatment of paying customers, I would strongly urge anyone considering this hotel to stay far away.

Worst experience at la Quinta

Did not stay at this hotel. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. Did not turn on the light for being afraid to see yellow walls because of the cigarette stench that permeated the room. The fridge and microwave was almost blocking the door as you enter the room. Bathroom just looked plain dirty.

We did not stay the night: our room had no working lights in the bedroom area, a cracked bathroom door, dead insects on the bathroom floor, and a bad chemical smell in the room. We asked for a different room, which the night manager accommodated, but it was no better, and the door lock was broken. We left and were told there was no refund. I used to like La Quinta; the rooms were clean and safe. What happened?

This property is dilapidated in every respect: Tub enamel worn to rusted iron frame. No tub mat. Two lampshades missing. Hairdryer broken. Bath towel with dirty smudges. Advertised breakfast unavailable. No cups for in room coffee or water. No ice available. Exterior paint peeling. Concrete cracked and steps actually broken. This is a safety hazard. Multiple cigarette butts. I am angry!! Waste of money, time and energy from me.

Absolutely terrible. The website and the actual property are not the same, there is definitely some false advertising going on here. Place look like a $5 motel once I pulled into the parking lot and then the room just confirmed that for me. I went to the front office and requested my reservation be canceled knowing I would lose half of the total paid for the reservation. Stay away unless you like grimy suspect hotels I mean motels
