Good for overnight stay

Disabled parking is limited and too far from reception. Reception was efficient and friendly. Decent size room was adequately furnished but bed was too firm for my wife's and my arthritic joints! The clean shower room was a little small but had a badly broken floor tile near the wash basin. Breakfast had great choice and was excellent as was the service.

Good stopover location

A convenient stopover location, Somewhat isolated from other services so need to travel into Shrewsbury by car if you don’t fancy catering and want an evening meal. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Stayed for 2 nights. Returned to room after first night to find the bed made and absolutely nothing else touched from cleaning service. Dirty towels, tissues empty, dirty cups etc

Good for a night

A little out of the way nestled in a business park, so you need to go out if you want some food - but Shrewsbury is only 10mins away. Normal HIE fare, nice sized room, bathroom could do with a little TLC (discoloured grout, shower holder a bit dodgy) - but nothing to spoil a one night stay. Breakfast was good - plenty of choice

I highly recommended staying here. I stayed 3 nights. It was a big room excellent shower clean room serviced daily. Breakfast was lovely. The staff are very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We are going to make this our regular go to as being disabled its very disabled friendly and disabled parking free of charge. Plus you need for nothing during your stay. Well done all concerned.

Quiet room with good check in and out times. Clean with choice of pillows. Iron and board provided. Excellent breakfast, including take away option. Staff on reception at check in did not tell me to put car registration number into console so am anticipating a fine. Helpful lady at reception this morning told me to call if this happens and they will sort it out.

Easy access hotel from the A5. Nice to have breakfast included in the price. Looks a little tired in places and a slightly odd 'cleaning' smell but overall a good stop off point. Easy drive to Shrewsbury but no dining options close to the hotel. Hotel evening options very limited.

Great value

HI says it’s a no frill service but it provides all you need for a few nights stay. Breakfast was included and is buffet style, nicely cooked and hot, there is a limited evening meal option but useful if you are too tired to explore further. I liked that window could open slightly, other hotels can be too warm with no fresh air option. Excellent shower.
