I wholeheartedly recommend this all-inclusive resort for an unforgettable getaway. The food, entertainment, and drinks were absolutely top-notch, ensuring every moment was enjoyable. The staff provided exceptional service, making us feel truly pampered. The spa offered a unique experience—don't miss the Turkish bath and treat yourself to at least a 90-minute massage. The views of the Mediterranean are simply breathtaking, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The beaches are lovely, and the pool, along with its amenities, is fantastic for unwinding. First trip as a family of 3

First holiday with our 8 month old and we really enjoyed ourselves! Lovely hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Room itself was great - just beware, evening entertainment can be quite loud and can be heard through the windows if you have young babies (we were in deluxe sea view room). The stage was right in front of our room. Having said that, a great view to enjoy the entertainment in the comfort of your room balcony! Great variety of food which was all of good quality. Would definitely visit again!

Apart from being right on beach, to which staff will bring complimentary drinks from the bar, it’s a nice walk along the shore to the Temple of Apollo (photo) and other ruins. Really quiet at night. Lots of cats, like all around Side, but they are clean and add some colour and make great photos.

Honeymoon holiday ruined!

We had a great time at this beautiful hotel with an exceptional service until we came back one day after our dinner and realized my wedding ring which was left in the room was gone after the evening room turndown service. I must admit that I made a mistake leaving it on the main desk but I just dont like wearing jewellery at all so I didnt realize it until we came back to the room and it was gone. We reported it to the reception, provided some photos that I had it during our stay and they checked with housekeeping but I felt like they didnt take it too seriously and made me feel like I just made up some story. We checked everything and everywhere a few times but it is still nowhere to be found. Don't know what to think about this. I learned my lesson.

I wish I could give them five star because for an all inclusive hotel it is exceptionally clean and calm and the food quality and selection is unbelievable the best I ever had but some of the reception staff were rude. Upon our checking in the receptionist scanned our passports and its not a common practice in other countries my son asked why the receptionist shouted at him like he was not allowed to ask why. It was a terrible first impression my son was pushing me to get back home as it was a very strange experience checking in a five star hotel.

Another Great Stay! But too many cats!!!

This is my second time staying in Acanthus, Side. I came back this year to Turkey just to stay in this hotel. The main staff are amazing, always helpful and friendly, the food terrific and the buffet changes regularly. Everywhere is so clean and the all inclusive policy is fantastic, even a free mini-bar in the room, replenished daily! I have noticed a big increase in the roaming cat population since my last visit. EVERY time I sat down to eat outside or have a coffee, or a drink, there were cats already sitting on the seats, or looking at me, from below, for food (even though there are signs not to feed the cats everywhere, they obviously expect to be fed). I could see some guests, esp. children, seemed to enjoy the cats, but it does not feel so hygienic as sometimes there is cat hair around (but still mostly very clean). BTW I like animals. I was also disappointed that, at check-in, they said I was not entitled to a room upgrade, as a Hotels.com Gold Member, even though it clearly states it on their site and also on my booking. I had to ask for the manager. Then they tried to say there were no higher level rooms available, even though I could show them the site advertising all room types that day. Grudgingly they gave me an upgrade. It was much appreciated, but would have been nicer if it had been given automatically, as I was entitled to it. It does highlight benefit of having Hotels.com membership! Still one of my favourite hotels.
